I do watch FB, but anything semi-desirable tends to go FAST if it's not at a dreamer price. As for 40 minutes being too far, that does seem odd...it's on the buyer to decide if a distance is reasonable, not the seller. Heck, it takes me at least 25 minutes to get to most places in the local area.
Made a few pickups lately:
Champs speed collars. Not nearly as nice as my York collars, but I won't feel as bad if these rust when I use them outside for strongman stuff in the rain. Wouldn't mind finding another cheap pair:
Parabody 813 power tower. Was cheap and is just as stable as the BFS power tower I used to have, with a smaller form factor:
Last but not least, 1/2 of my Titan reverse hyper. Final box arrives tomorrow. Based on the pieces that have arrived so far, this is probably the nicest Titan product I've seen for fit and finish, and was actually well packaged (I'd call it a solid 5 on the Mech6 1-10 packaging protection scale, with 10 being "buy lifetime supply of bubble wrap, get free monolift attachments"). Hopefully the complete product doesn't let me down, but I think it won't be hard to offload and cut my losses if it does:

I can kinda get it.
I have had people selling old York stuff think it's weird that I am willing to drive an hour for it - in general I try not to tell people where I am, just agree to be somewhere at a certain time.
On the flip side, I have noticed that guys coming farther - like an hour or a little more are more often squirrelly - get a lot of the "I got held up, can't make it" I won't discourage them from it, but I am not going out of my way to make it easier on themBoomer Rep Crew #1

Picked this Ohio Deadlift bar up on Friday for $125. There is a bit of pitting in a small portion of one sleeve but overall it’s in pretty good shape. Gave it a good scrubbing with some 3 in 1 tonight and I’ll take it down stairs tomorrow morning for a proper Deadlift session. The knurling isn’t messing around haha

some recent pickups. kept the chunk weights and 120 pins from an ironmaster pickup. i think one of my kb handles had plates so i can make 165 and 70 lb dumbbell pairs
i already had an extra set of handles i got from pias for 50
got the york stands for cheap. they were originally free but the reseller didnt want much. got him to take off 20% ;-). came with the curl bar collars and a few york standard plates.
got the 15 lb globe for 35 shipped. supposed to be 15 lb even but its 15 lb 12 oz.
im up to 200 lbs of globes now for $165. not bad i suppose.▪█───────█▪ Equipment Crew #46 ▪█───────█▪

Haven't been able to "rep" many of you for a year or more...not for lack of trying.

Cross post for YBBC-II thread. The one on the right is what I got
Also got these hitch pins from TSC to store my Crep SSB. Thanks to Jason. They are perfect for bar storage . Powder coated and relatively cheap.
Might get one more pair . So that I don't have move the bars in and out of rack .

Have you used a Westside Pro or Rogue RH before this one? I'm just curious for a comparative. One thing that always jumps out to me is that the weight tubes seem to be positioned higher on the pendulum relative to the floor than normal, and this obviously would change center of gravity of the pendulum which obviously changes how the movement feels. I wonder if that was one of their ways around the patent? Curious to hear more real user feedback because so far, the info that has come out on this Titan RH seems to be suspicious.

What is the height from the floor on the WS or Rogue units? I haven't used either of those models. The closest I've come is playing with a Dynamic model in the showroom. I'll measure the Titan when I get some time. If the GarageGyms guy can be believed, the Titan and Rogue dimensions were "pretty close", but he didn't give exact numbers.

My Westside Pro RH is roughly 8.5 inches off the floor, so 12.75 inches confirms what I've thought. 4 inches on a 40 inch pendulum is a 10% difference, I'd say that's pretty significant. I'd assume that the shorter distance of the Titan wouldn't be a factor if one is shorter, but I'd think the center of gravity shift would be more signifiant with someone larger.

The Legend Westside Pro that I have seemed to sit a touch lower than the Rogue from memory. My personal RH is sitting on a 4x4 runner (came out of the 49ers weight room and this particular one was dedicated for the big guys), so I'm just approximating the distance. It's possible that it's more like 9 or 9.25, but still, that's still a big difference.
