Why do shaker Bottles smell so bad after a while???

if you leave it in your car for a few days the protein sours just like milk.

Wash it with soap, including the bottom of the cover, then after it dries, leave it open until next use. It may still smell but shouldn't be as bad...

I've never had my bottle smell bad tbh. I don't have the plain ol' blender bottle though so I guess that's why. I bought another one on Amazon. Says it's "made of stain and odor resistant durable Eastman Tritan plastic" O_O.

Soap and water or just throw them away and get a new one! Can smell a bad one a mile away.

Wash it out with dilute vinegar. It will remove the smell within seconds.

Have you tried a stainless steel bottle. The kitchen grade stainless does not absorb odor. Check out Ice Shaker
