Each time they are presented with facts they either make a stupid argument or just regurgitate something stupid

http://time.com/4651122/homicides-increase-cities-2016/
According to the Major Cities Chiefs Association, which collected data from 61 metropolitan police agencies, U.S. cities saw 6,407 homicides in 2016, an 11% increase from the year before. Dallas, Las Vegas, Louisville, Memphis, Phoenix and San Jose all saw rises in killings last year, as did some smaller cities that typically have very low murder rates. Arlington, Texas, for example, had 4 homicides in 2015 but 18 in 2016; Salt Lake City saw 6 in 2015 compared with 14 last year.
As the article from your mainstream news overlords points out it takes 3 to 5 years to see trend lines. Crime is not at 1990 levels, however to say it is not increasing is inaccurate.

Trump and his supporters aren't spergs so we understand that when says things like this it's supposed to be figuratively and not literally.
What Trump is doing is empathizing how the crime rate is too high and something must be done about it. I know your autism is screaming out you right now but it doesn't excuse you of not knowing this nugget of information as it's been spelled out of you numerous amounts of times.*** Mod Negged for Defending Dolph Lundgren's honor ***

and yet you're in denial about the truth. Sad.
You're special but here you go buddy

I think it's safe to assume that you either accept this fact or just do what every other trump supporter does, be in denial.

So when he says something that's right he's speaking literally, when he says something that's wrong he was just speaking figuratively? If he's concerned about the murder rate rising in the US (a very valid concern), why would he muddy the water by saying something so specific and demonstrably false as "the murder rate in our country is the highest it's been in 47 years"? Why not just start with "the murder rate is increasing"?
What was he really trying to say during his press conference when he said he'd had the biggest electoral college win since Reagan? You sound like a religious nut defending the Bible.
