When I flew to Indiana, I sat next to a player who was on the Giants winning SB with Bill Parcells. People were asking him left and right for pictures and what not.


I didn't ask him for anything like that, and he told i was one of the few people who don't. I said "its really not my place to bug people when they are just trying to go about their life"

We ended up chatting a good bit, and he works for the Giants as a scout for the NFL draft.

Reminds me of seeing Davis Love III in a airport when I was younger. (pro golfer) My dad noticed it was him and we were sitting maybe 15 foot from him. My dad simply spoke and said along the lines of congratulating him on a recent strong finish he had and we thoroughly enjoyed watching him play. Great attitude and demeanor. He spoke to us for about 10 minutes before he had to board his flight. I think they (athletes/celebs) enjoy being treated as normal people far more than as a public figure. At the end of the day, they are normal humans just like the rest of us.
