Getting about $1,800 back so paying off the credit (spent quite a bit during Black Friday sales & Christmas gifts) and the rest goes into my savings (gonna be bring it up to about $26,000)

If your credit card is less than 1800 and you have 25k in bank why are you carrying a credit card balance?

What happens for those of you that have kids but still put 9 in your W2 form. How does that work? I don't mind not getting anything back any refund as long as I don't owe during tax time. If anything I'd probably still get money back since I tithe every Sunday at church. Please advise *******s.

I've swore to myself to not use money from my savings unless it was completely necessary to since I don't want it to become a habit of doing so. I've only got $1000 left to pay off for my credit card bill and could do it with my next pay check but just gonna do it w/the tax refund instead since it'll arrive sooner (get paid monthly here). Usually always pay off credit credit amount monthly but the holidays are my time to splurge.
