The Real Cause of Muscle Cramp

Probably the only sub forum that'd be interested in this. Is your sports drink really the answer to preventing cramp?

Not entirely sure about throwing the electrolyte bit into the trash. A lot of those "sports drinks" contain sodium but virtually no potassium. Most individuals get enough sodium in their diets. I am intrigued more so by sports drinks that reverse this ratio and provide more potassium than sodium.

I've noticed the cricketers drinking pickle juice. Not sure of the science behind it but may be something to look into?
