OP is in a spot I think I've ended up in before, but never bothered to ask the girl about. I was dating a few girls at once not long back. I think one became aware that I was seeing other girls. She never asked us to be exclusive, but not long after she became aware of another girl it was a lot harder to see her. It was a very sudden change of demeanor.

I was always confused over if she went cold because she lost interest in me or if she backed off because she thought she was a rotation piece. I figured if she liked me enough, the presence of other girls would have lit a fire under her ass and made her seek exclusivity - jealousy.

Is there any way to broach this in conversation after they go cold? Do you just assume she lost interest in you and move on?
