What it's like having to deal with people who don't even read/understand threads? Example:

I am genuinely curious. Why don't you guys train your moderators better? Or why don't you guys punish them for abusing their "power"? There are a lot of mods who simply aren't qualified to be in a position of power yet they remain here for years on end. There is also so much inconsistency in the moderating that it becomes very tough as a member to know what you can/cannot do. Half of the time you don't get banned for something and the other half you do. Each mod has a different set of views, rules, and they tend to let their emotions dictate how they handle certain situations.


Also, are you FA (ForumAdmin) or are you different from him? If you are him, you are one nice dude.

Why does BB dot com not upgrade the forum software?

I've been to absolute chit forums that had like 7 active users and the layout and features were 10 times better than what we have.
We still need to type BB Code manually like it's 2001. smh.
Considering that the giant variety of Misc threads directs probably the majority of traffic to bb dot com it's only fair that us peasant miscers get something nice once in a while.

Serious question: Who can I contact regarding a ban, and through what medium? Not that it matters now, but I was banned a couple of weeks ago and I could not figure out why. I emailed the banning moderator and forum administrator at the addresses given in the ban message, but that didn't work... I'm guessing they may have been the wrong email addresses?

EDIT: Also not really a question, but just some input -- the mobile experience for this site is pretty bad. I think it should be improved somehow.

How come the icon on my tab will flash incessantly and the board will start lagging so hard that If I'm watching a video in another tab it will make the video stutter?

Each mod leaves a ban message along with an email that you can reach them at.
