    Camaro or Mustang?

Assuming comparably equipped, which would you choose and why?

    Looking for good responses.

Buddy of mine's favorite kind of car was a Camaro.

He ended up working in a factory assembling Camaros. He said that after he saw first hand how poorly they were made, he would NEVER buy one. Said they're all complete pieces of junk.

Mustang and it's not even close. Those Chevy's are complete garbage when it comes to room. You can't drive a few hours in that thing and be comfortable....hell naw.

I'd love one, but they tend to be more expensive and I'm really not comfortable with Chrysler transmissions. They seem to go south on all their cars.

None of those are true. If anything, you get more bang for your buck with a Dodge. You're still thinking 2,000 Chrysler. They've come a long way. Go test drive one (2015 or newer) before you make your decision. A few miles in one and you won't even consider a Camaro. Make sure your challenger has the track pack and an 8.4" uconnect at a minimum. They can be had for $30k easy.

What's your budget? Dodge had Scat Packs going for $36k at the end of the year. That's their bigly 500 hp hemi.

I'm in the same boat, I know the camaro out performs the mustang..but the price difference is HUGE and for that extra 10k, you can get headers back exhaust, cam, and tune the mustang for like 5k.

Yes it does. I have a Challenger btw and it's been awesome. The track pack gives you the performance pages in the Uconnect. This is GTR stuff where you have launch control, 0-60 timers, etc.

My second choice would be a charger, obviously.

3rd would be the mustang but I hate that they're still putting a 5 speed auto in them. You'll understand why when you test drive a challenger with an 8 speed.

4th would be the camaro. They're tiny. Like mini cooper tiny. Ya, they're fast but they're boring. Their my-link multimedia is garbage. Their interiors look 10 years old. I just hate GM products and this is coming from a guy who owns one.

I daily drove Corvettes for 8 years. Long trips they were very comfy. I agree on Camaros not being comfy long drives. Had two 95 (LT1) Camaros as well when I was a teen.

You can be like my mouth breather boss who only owns two cars: a newer Camaro and a Charger.

    We live in Chicago BTW.

I'm looking like how stupid do you have to be?

We live in Chicago, you have two cars, no legit winter car, and 2 sports cars that are basically the same car.
The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

Yeah from what I've seen, things like the radio looks really dated. Piss-poor design.

Judging solely on appearance, I would choose the mustang. Imo it looks way nicer, especially the new models with the round front.
