    Weight loss stalled

i dont know what happened but my weight loss has stalled out. i lost almost 50 pounds in 4 months and now im just stalled at 192 pounds. been just bouncing around 192-198. since mid Dec. peaked at 240 (mostly 230 to 238)
    size 36 jean size

currently size 33 jean size.@192 even slim jeans are baggy (lol) no chicken legs here.

i have poor uper body stength i mean my arms are like noodles. 12" forearm and 13" bi/triceps

i tried working out hevly uper body. but with little success. i think its due to tramma from when i was a kid(physical abuse ). anyways i topped out at 35pound dumbbells

excellent lower body stength. 26"quads 16"calfs. (naturally) prework out size. size 13 shoes to go with that.
(since i dont have equipment or gym membership )
yeah every thing is bigger below the belt

I prefer the flat stomach look. visable abs looks kinda gross to me. imo. yeah i did have a 4pack in 2011. but gave up working out. that is how I got back to what i weighed previously..

    im 5'10

that is my goal by summer time

it was fairly easy to lose the weight by stopping eating /drinking surgery foods. with no other charges in eating habits

At your former size - that was enough.

Now that you're 50 lbs lighter you are going to have to get more serious about counting calories and ensuring you're in an overall deficit to continue further.

    IOW - Eat less.

I think the main problem is a lack of gym membership followed up by a need to become a bit more organized with your eating. Once the first 50 is gone, just skipping soda's tends to not be enough to progress. One needs a better plan.

If you don't train effectively with proper tools, it's hard to expect proper results from yourself. Good work getting the 50 off, now I think it's time you valued yourself more and do a few hours homework in the sticky topics, and get a gym membership.
The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

Not to be confused with a temporary plateau (which happens from time to time), a true stall in weight loss means one thing -- you're not in a caloric deficit. You may think that you're eating fewer calories than you burn each day, but if the fat is not coming off, you're not. As others have said, it is impossible to know if you're in a deficit unless you count your calories. Get an accurate estimate of your TDEE, set a reasonable deficit, and stick to it. You'll see the fat start melting off you in no time. Good luck!

You basically need to eat less. Diet is Key.

I went from 295-210 just eating the same foods(pasta, meat, veggies, fruit, shakes,
Rice) but every other week I would eat out but track absolutely everything with myfitnesspal so I was still loosing weight. So diet is key.. As I kept going I basically had to eat less and less.. Or move more. It's easier to eat less.

Start eating foods that will fill you up longer. (Whole Foods)
(Rice,Beans, fish, turkey, lean beef, pulled pork, chicken, veggies ect Google Whole Foods) cut out everything that has useless calories (Any junk food)

I would reccomend using myfitnesspal with a food scale and eat the calories you need to loose weight. If you don't loose weight after a week or 2 reduce like 50-100 calories or move more.. it's going to be trial and error basically but it's easy once you get it going.

    In order of relevance:

They result primarly from water retention due to various factors. Cheat days or even refeeds stall loss in case of a small deficit. Adaptions causing (sub)concious lazyness is another.

Then there are scale fluctuations or user errors due to sloppy tracking of food one usually doesn't eat. Not doing solid nr2's. These are minor causes though.

I think i'm starting to make some progress clocked in at 191.8pounds which is a new personal best this month. i eat about 1250-1500 a day

out to eat addict making food at home is more expensive then going out to eat I mean I can get 2 meals out to eat for 4$ if I made something it would be 5-10$ each meal prices are fairly high here in California
two double stack tacos yes i get beans instead of beef (their beef is gross anyways imo it's only worth a headache for me anyways )

    1300 calories today..

going out is not really a good idea few murders around this area in the last 6 months.... its not a safe area overall..
    since april '16 about 50pounds
since July '16 i only lost about 16.6pounds
only 2 pounds in the last 30 days

my goal is to get to 180 pounds.

Adjust your diet accordingly. Make sure it's varied, balanced and that you mix it up. Mainly white fish and salmon if you have the money. Try to avoid any pills and medications (can make you gain visceral fat). Get plenty of sleep. Lower stress in your life. Good luck bro

    Peace

If you are eating out junk food like that then it's no wonder that your weight loss stalled.

You are not eating "1300 calories".. think "more than that"... a lot more.
