Might be a long shot but if he's gonna have a resurgence and pitch well anywhere it can't help to have it be with the organization you saw all your success to begin with.

Could pan out big if he's healthy

He hasn't been healthy since so you cant argue his stuff is gone. We simply don't know. Could it be? Yeah it's likely but worth a crack at it to see if he can get healthy and see what's still there

Stress fracture in knuckle of his pitching hand plus 32 years old. Not saying he'll be terrible, the bottom won't drop out that fast. He'll be 3.50+ ERA.

Kyle Hendricks. I'm expecting around a 3 ERA. Still a really good pitcher, but won't dominate the league like he did last year.

My next choice is Carlos Carrasco

3.32 era is significantly better than his career avg.

I suspect he will regress to around. 3.70 era at best, possibly even closer to 4.00 where he really belongs



The fact Mel has refused to even acknowledge my request to renew our bet between Teheran vs Carrasco season era is strong evidence of this truth.

Mel is simply frightened to death to go a full season. Guy has to cherry months where the braves season is over and Indians are fighting for a playoff spot to try and make it seem like he's right

It's almost like we all know it, but we choose to ignore it and be overly optimistic cause Kershaw is our boy and we've watched him do amazing things... but deep down........ deep down...... we know he will disappoint. srs. Or is it just me?

I would imagine the batters probably thinking "Kershaw aint chit, watch him melt" during the post season srs. They smell blood, and Kershaw is his own worst enemy in the playoffs. He needs to just erase his traumatizing memories.

I honestly would not be against a blockbuster trade with Kershaw to Angels and others for Mike Trout. IM JUST SAYIN

My boy worked in marketing and it seems that they repeat the same promotions all over the country. Pups in the park, rock concerts after the game, and the traditional tshirt or hat night stuff.

The Cardinals lost their 1st round pick in the 2017 draft when they signed Dexter Fowler this offseason. They are now forfeiting their next 2 highest picks to the Astros as punishment for the hacking case. They have also been fined $2 million. Chris Correa has been added to MLB's permanently ineligible list. MLB's investigation says that no one but correa had anything to do with the hack.
