For our business i've still got a long way to go in terms of social media and marketing, so i'm not a great person to ask. I guess i'd look online on instagram and ********, as well as locally to see which local gyms have a strong online presence and high gym attendance rates. if it were me i think i'd like to stop by and offer to give them a set of plates and a few bars to test and review and see if they'd give you a shout out and a review online.
Urban's been doing his best to promote you guys, but this website can hardly compete with ********, instagram and youtube. if you have any big names on those that are local, i'd start with them.
i'm happy for you when i hear about all your upcoming stuff you've got; and to hear you're prepping to move into a bigger space. glad to hear that your business is doing well and that you're looking to expand into commercial.

My goal is to have so much equipment that I don't have room to workout. I am almost there. :)

Looks like bells of steel took down their photos that were stolen from urban and duke.
It looks like somebody notified them or they read this forum regularly

I vote for SS sleeves if it does not effect the cost. Sign me up for that too. Will get rid of Cap-OB86B , now that price is back up to $145 or so.
Speaking of 30mm or 31 mm bar , I was able to final take of the roll pins . Will post the pics in the barbell thread.
If Rep comes up with 30 mm SS bar then that would be hard to resist as well.[M]===[6]βͺ Mech6 Crew #35 βͺ[M]===[6]

I'd vote for stainless sleeves also.
With all stainless construction, the only similar bar I can think of is the Ivanko OBXS-20kg, which is something around $1000 these days. If you build an all-stainless proper 29mm power bar for a nice price, this entire forum will buy one.Equipment Crew #68, Ivanko Crew #47, Rogue Barbell Club #7, Mech6 Crew #30

Yeah, I'll try to fix them if I have time today. Very happy with the purchase, they are seeing alot of wear on the paint but I have been lifting like crazy lately so I kinda feel like that is to be expected. Very happy all around, but I do kinda wish I bought some 35's becase they are handy to have around. I will eventually get around to buying another set so I'll probably get the 255lb set when I do. One thing I will say though, given SK mentioned it being an issue with the revolver style plate a while ago, is that these are not the greatest for deadlifting. They do roll around a bit on my floor, and for some reason no matter how tight I get them on the bar there is a little movement. Only seems to be noticeable when deadlifting, other movements its business as usual.

Nice haha! I'll get updated pictures tonight on the condition of my plates so there is something of value in this thread again. The only areas that seem to be wearing are the raised area around the hub. They stick out just enough to make contact before the outer rim, and since I enjoy slapping plates together occasionally it's chipping. Odd enough though they haven't really haven't rusted yet despite some humidity downstairs, you can just see shiny gray surface.

It's been a few years now since you've had the plates. Would love an updated review on how they held up.
I bought the REP Stainless EX Power Bar off your recommendation and I absolutely love it, but now I have to replace my old CAP plates with something nicer.
Have you bought additional plates over the years? Any notable change in quality? Or do they all seem the same regardless of year.
