I'm replying bloodborne. Never actually beat it, got about 2/3s of the way through and then started playing other games. By the time I came back I was rusty and had no idea where I was lol. Also, I was trying to use a bunch of different weapons and placed points into skills I didn't use. This time around I'm going with a quality build and it's much easier.

Def dark souls 1 if you can
Next blood born
Followed by the the other dark souls
Ds 1 is amazing
Might want to play it last though since it's the best
You might want to do 2 then 3 since they are slow combat, then blood born cuz it's fast, then ds 1 cuz its goatAny posts made are purely fictional in nature and by no means is anything I say to be taken seriously. I am playing blind, got out of the prison pretty quick never had any problems there, but then I spoke to the guy at the bonfire and attacked him then he merked me over and over and I got stuck in a cycle of death so had to start a new game. Then I went through this cemetary area behind him and kept getting wreckt by these skeleton guys, so I went the other direction and ran into the Tauros Demon, took like 15 different tries to beat that boss. What made me rage was you don't respawn right before him so every time I died I had to go through all those lame zombies again just to get to the boss again and I had to do it with enough estus flasks so I would actually have a chance to beat the boss, then I had to figure out actually HOW to beat the boss so it ended up taking like 15 attempts before I finally did it. I knew this game was difficult before going in but had no idea how unforgiving it is, it is fun but I wish there was a little more direction on what to do/where to go they literally put you in and expect you to figure everything out yourself.
I remember the guy at the bonfire talking about 2 bells I need to get one is up above and the other is below the undead burg or some chit, also I started off as a warrior class so I'm leveling up strength, dexterity, vitality etc, don't think I'm gonna fuk with magic much at least for a while I prefer to play melee. I have loads of items that I have no clue what they do like soul of a lost undead and humanity to become unhollow etc.Last edited by Groce; 01-19-2017 at 02:57 AM.

Played both DkS3 and Bloodborne last year, with the former on PC and the latter when I bought a PS4 near August.
Bloodborne is easily one of my top 10 games, ever. It's got the best setting out of all the Souls games and the best mechanics too. Damn shame the PVP isn't as active anymore in the game.
Didn't play The Old Hunters dlc yet though.

i was the same as you (except instead of rom i had trouble with vicar amelia), but the DLC bosses rekt my anus so hard
then again i did take a long ass break from playing any souls game before i started the DLC, so that might have been a big factor. (but since you're not a souls noobie, i'm sure they won't be too hard for you)
regardless, the bosses are cool af and there's one in particular that i think is the best, most stylish boss fight out of the entire soulsbourne franchise srs
das jus me thopm me ur pics and ill rep u haha jk no homo lol haha no but srsly pls pm me ur pics haha just glutes and maybe face haha no homo again lol just kidding kinda not rly lol pls send them

Oh man I envy you
Try using the souls and humanity and see what happens
Find out how to level up your stats
Endurance is good for a low level so you can use your shield more
Go both up and down. One direction you will have no chance and get wrecked, the other you won't get wrecked as much and it's easier to go through and fight the next boss and level up more
If you die too much don't be afraid to run through and area to get a feel for hidden monsters and traps then walk through slowly
It's kinda cheese but if you lose all your souls you have no reason to not sprint around until you die. Then just pick the enemies off one by one when you know where they are
Also talk to character until you exhaust their dialogue optionsAny posts made are purely fictional in nature and by no means is anything I say to be taken seriously. that is what you gotta watch out for. There is a lot of sensitivity in the game in this regard. The worst part was no doubt grinding for all the hunter weapons/tools. There are gravestones you go into and its basically a randomly generated dungeon you crawl through with enemies progressively getting tougher.
wat? no

Yeah, there's a ton of missable stuff in this game so it's best to follow a guide.

Not reading the posts because of potential spoilers. I beat Bloodborne a couple of weeks ago and was about 80% of the way through NG+ and did a lot of the chalice dungeons and decided to move to Dark Souls 3. Loving Dark Souls 3 right now. Feels good to be back on dat dere 4k @ 60fps time w/ DS3... game is excellent. I'm probably about half-way through the game right now and loving it.

So I had a lot of rage moments last night while playing trying to beat the bell gargoyles and was even thinking about quitting, I was just trying to smash my way through everyone and kept dying and obviously that's not how you play the game and I was getting mad as fuk going full on rage mode. Felt like a pussy after quitting and the game was taunting in my mind so I tried it again today and I think I finally "get it" now, I bet a lot of players went through this when they first played it. Been doing more reading about it on Dark Souls wiki and it seems patience and devising a tactic for each enemy/boss is the key. there's so much chit I wasn't even aware of like just the ability to jump. I got just got the Drake Sword and this thing is fuarking beastly, I didn't even know there were blacksmiths you could use to upgrade your weapons/armor so now I need to find one, then I'm gonna try tackling the bell gargoyles again with the Drake Sword.
