Grateful for
-Farmers. Without them and their crops, we’d starve. And lordt knows I can’t grow anything to save my life.
-Heater. With temps dropping at night I’ve had to start kicking on the heater to maintain our comfy indoor temp.
-Short lived cold. Both kids came down sick last week, and of course I caught it thanks to the little one. So far it’s not a bad one and doesn’t seem to be too long lived.

Grateful for
-Great staff at the high school. Today is my IEP meeting, wish me luck, and the staff have been very good thus far at keeping me in the loop. Unfortunately my teen is failing most of her classes. So today we’ll be discussing her placement in a more specialized program.
-The pumpkin chocholate chip muffins I made last night. They didn’t come out half bad.
-Great under eye concealer. The baby got vaccinations yesterday, so she cried a lot yesterday and last night. I’m dead freakin tired. Glad the concealer can coverup my zombie mode.

Today I am grateful for:
1) my best friend texted me and told me her son's fever is gone. I am thankful for her son's health recovery. My friend asked me to pray for him last night, and I did. I am thankful that God heard our prayers and blessed the child.
2) I recovered from cold. I am thankful that my cough is gone, my voice is back.
3) woke up early today without alarm, did a good upper body workout, feed an walked the dog, feed guinea pigs, watered my flowers and picked a couple of tomatoes, cooked two dishes. Cleaning lady arrived before I leave for work. I am thankful that my day starts early. I am thankful for a busy morning. I am thankful that I will have a clean place after I return home from work.

Grateful for
-IEP meeting went well. I have to go back for part two when they conclude the testing to see if my oldest falls somewhere on the spectrum. So far they feel changing her placement to a more specialized program will allow her to finish’s school and she can receive services till she’s 22. She won’t receive a diploma but she will get a certificate of completion. I really hoped she would have been able to complete high school on a higher level, but compared to when she was very little and they didn’t know if she would walk talk or see I’m grateful she’s come this far. It’s been a whirlwind of emotions. Sorry for the long wall of text on this one.
-The cheese danish I’m about to eat. Husband said it’s his, but I don’t think he’s aware this is a community property state. Lol I’m entitled to half the danish. Hahaha.
-Having supportive family. My mom and my sister had my back and totally lifted my spirits when I was super down yesterday. I may not have a lot of family and friends, but the people I have around me are quality people and I’m very thankful for that.

Hola...
Grateful for:
- Just found out that I'm getting at least a 6% raise by December which combines the cost of living raise and the lowest possible merit raise. My income bracket has just jumped, curious to see how taxes will work next year.
- Husband got the job that he's been vying for several months at the pay rate he wants.
- Leaving for a mini trip on Monday to Guadalajara, Mexico for 5 days. Going to be pretty cool I hope.
Edit: MadNinja, eat it all! See how he reacts. It'll be funzies.Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

I'm grateful for...
- winning a company wide chili cook off, validating my culinary skill that Fuzzie refuses to acknowledge.
- beer while working. Love the company I work for.
- a solid DL session this morning. Feels good to be pulling again.
- only one more week until we move into our house. Been forever, it seems, and I'm more than ready to be out of the in-laws house.
- a day of mainly screwing off at the office. I needed this relaxation.
