Right, but DMAA is not a true amphetamine as it has an incomplete structure.
It will read as one on a drug test though. It may still show up 3-5 days later, and that should be expected to be on the safer side, but chances are it will leave the system sooner.
Anyway I'm not a doc so I wouldn't really expect some to use my advice in prep for competition testing

Most of the tested ones do. Most natural bodybuilding feds ban it, I believe. USAPL follows the WADA list and bans it in competition. NCAA bans it.

I think it's harder to find (major) comps/organizations that don't ban DMAA. As mentioned NCAA, WADA, USAPL, whoever else...that's going to effect an awful lot of people

I usually stop taking any pres 2 weeks out before my meet. WADA bans some random things on the day of competition, like hydromax. If I need any caffeine, I just take a caffeine pill.

One week is probably good enough, but I don't want to chance it.

Interesting enough to see this being discussed, as I didn't even think of stopping DMAA before a meet in two months would have been a noobie mistake lol even if at only one scoop a week. Assuming it would also be okay to take any other pre on BB as the only stimulant would be caffeine?

bb.com does not currently sell anything with DMAA but they certainly include stimulants other than caffeine. Not that any of them are likely to be banned. You need to check the rules of whatever you intend to compete in, and check your labels...

You can essentially mix anything into any protein almost; within reason. Try a larger range of IQF fruits I have blended up many proteins with many things including mango, papaya, guava, strawberries, blueberries, cranberries along with walnut butter, rolled oats, buckwheat flour, apples and many other things.

I would caution to much acidity may change the texture of the drink and not in a good way so I wouldn't say dump grapefruit juice or something into it not that you would but just saying.

And as someone else mentioned you can mix it with other protein flavors but you could certainly also mix it into eggnog, cream, chocolate milk or something if you have the calories for it think of them as added dietary fats! :P

Fug makes high protein high fat ice cream using an ice cream maker + whole milk and lots of protein.

Vanilla is the perfect protein to make whole food shakes at home. I use it with frozen fruits and greens and the sweetness of the frozen fruits stays the dominant flavor since vanilla is usually lighter in flavor.
