Thanks bud, my diet was pretty simple - nothing TOO fancy or special. I just made sure to hit my deficit every day (Check out TDEE Calculator)
I also did intermittent fasting for the majority of it, of course it's not required but it worked better to my schedule and I felt it gave me an edge.
I did very little to no cardio and focused on lifting, unfortunately I never really gained a lot of strength but that's to be expected.
But TLDR; Eat within your deficit, lift heavy and the weight will come off. Don't dig too much online because it's easy to get information overload that contradicts itself.
