Right before they moved to America... Those FOB Vietnamese Americans in the 1970s WERE the same Vietnamese people suffering virtual genocide, just without American paperwork until 1980.
And like I said before, stop focusing on America. There are 200 other countries in the world and black people have the same problems in all 200 of them. Focusing on American-centric causes for worldwide problems is retarded.
The only explanation is that black people have been perpetual victims of racism all over the world, even in Africa, for thousands of years. I personally believe this.

Why are you comparing Vietnamese immigrants who moved to America in the 70s and 80s to 100+ years of Jim Crow laws and generations of slavery and disinfranchisement that blacks in America faced?
The two subjects you're trying to merge together are not even remotely similar.
And why wouldn't we focus on America? The discussion is about America inside a thread about a city in America. Stop changing the subject and stick to the topic.

Inherent cultural perpetual victim mode is a mother f-er man. Unfortunately, that's one thing no one but you (Singular and or collective you) can change for you. Obviously, many in the black community have moved on, and I will tell you those that have, tend to have little empathy for those who have not. My friends who are doctors, cops, lawyers, etc, all of whom started with nothing and simply worked their a$$ off to get where they are.
Have they experienced racism in their life? Yes they have, but they didn't let it prevent them from making it happen for them.BrinkZone, Where Bro-Science Got Rabies and Died!

Because what we're talking about in that city repeats itself all over the world without exception in all of its 200 countries.. So, it would stand to reason that what causes those problems all over the world also causes those problems in Chicago, and that what causes those problems in Chicago also causes those same problems all over the world.
I've already stated my position. Black people started moving to Chicago in today's high crime areas back in the 1960s. At the same time, racist white people started moving out of those areas. Black people are also victims of racism in Europe, South America, and Asia. Black people were victims of racism in Africa during the colonial time periods. I really do believe that black people have been victimized more than any other racial group and have been victimized for thousands of years all over the world.

No. Very few races have been **** on as much as black people have both worldwide and throughout history. Without fail, they almost all have huge problems; aboriginals, native Americans, etc. Some, like Jewish people and Chinese people, prosper but most do not. All things considered, black people have managed to not become extinct and, given history, that's an exceptional outcome. Aboriginals and native Americans, for example, are barely alive today.

When did I say I didn't want metal detectors ? I want to make sure that those schools have the same rescources aka after school activities, sports, clubs, etc that other school have.
I understand why people would not want to hire convicted felons that's why we need to find ways to encourage employers to hire ex felons. This is one example: http://www.businessinsider.com/benef...-owners-2012-1

Where is the research that says that they refuse it ? if this were true we should keep working to motivate them to get them to join and not just "give up". I understand, hiring an ex con isn't appealing but that's not to say that they will re-offend again especially if they got some form of rehab inside prison.

Yes, why wouldn't it be ? we want kids to have the same opportunities as any other kid regardless of their economic background. It can also help prevent crime and over crowding in prisons. Why is that a big deal ?
People change and there is thing called insurance and like I said before, we can give them incentives to hire ex cons.

Can confirm on the chittyness of that area. I live off Lawrence and Damen have to drive through uptown to get to Lake Shore Dr. on the way to work. Definitely ruins the north side.
To echo what fellow Chicago brahs have said for those unaware, the vast majority of these murders happen in areas of the South and West sides that any tourist/law abiding citizen would not find themselves in. Unless you get fuked by traffic and have to take alternate routes for work, I can't see how anyone would end up in Englewood, Washington Park, Auburn Gresham, Back of the Yards, etc. Obviously, some ppl naturally work there, but tourists would not end up there.
But, even the north/northwest side is seeing its fair share of crime. Aside from chithole Uptown, areas like Lakeview, Wrigleyville, Boystown, Avondale, Irving Park and the area around Loyola University have seen more chit happen recently.Barely use FB, deleted Twitter, never had an Instagram crew

Who said it wasn't ? it's a part of it. I understand why you wouldn't want to hire an ex con but to say that they will all re offend is pretty absurd.
I honestly don't know what you're trying to get at, it seems like you aren't interested in helping people and just want to make excuses as to why we shouldn't.

Sorry but you're projecting your feelings onto others. There are people who hire ex felons and plenty of business have done that just because you don't doesn't mean others won't. I also pity people like you, people like you don't want to see certain people succeed in life but that's ok some of us do.
