I have to agree with you and the OP.

I actually just ended an ordeal with this company this week.

    Cliffs:

    1. I ordered a belt squat from them due to the cost being OK, especially considering it could be custom colored and shipped for free. The cost was $1800.00 and the customer service was OK prior to me buying the product.

    2. The product showed up by the time he said it would. It took about 6 weeks for it to arrive, but that is what he said for arrival time.

    3. One of the pieces (the arm that the belt hooks up to) was shorter than it should've been, so the machine works, but not 100% as intended. Also, another main piece of the machine has a slightly crooked weld, so not everything lines up straight.

    4. I reached out for replacement pieces and he admitted to sending the wrong part. He said a new one would be sent out shortly.

    5. It never came and after multiple attempts to figure it out, he never responded again.

    6. I opened a case through PayPal and they require a statement from myself and from the seller. I gave my statement and he never gave his.

    7. I got a full refund for the machine and also am able to keep the machine.

While I ended up with a free machine that does work, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I believe in providing customers with what they pay for and this company did not do that for me.

I'd probably find someone that can make the modifications to the machine so that it works, probably will cost less than the refund you received so you should come out ahead.

Went looking for the booty selfies mentioned in the OP's post, found this instead. Shadiness to be expected maybe.

I've seen that note too, but try to see the good in people. The fact that he admitted to me that he sent the wrong part and then lied about sending me the replacement was uncalled for. I'm just thankful that PayPal has common sense and refunded me.

just curious where the info of them closing came from...don't see that anywhere on their ********. Their belt squat looked pretty nice actually and i kinda liked what they did with positioning of the load (where you put the plates for your working sets). It's too bad they're not so good to do business with. That's been out there about them for a little while now.

Thanks to all who shared their stories. I'm looking for a couple small custom pieces and just comparing the (very few) options. This company is off the list permanently. (And wtf calls a business client "homie"?)
