Hope Ronda wins.
Just hate Nunes so much. Just can't buy into her hype.
Get that Rousey train going again so itll be that much more sweet when it crashes and burns again.

If she doesn't go full retard mode then maybe. And thats a slight maybe.
Shed have to rely entirely on her Judo and BJJ but getting in the clinch was hard for Ronda cause Holms was pot shotting her and getting the hell away. And Ronda couldn't adjust and Edmond was telling her she looked awesome in between rounds and saying how Holly only had the straight.
But I think she'll duck her the rest of her career. Especially with Holms moving up in weight.Forgot to train biceps crew

Part of me wants to see her beat up Ronda as bad as Holly did for the lulz.
The other part of me thinks the better scenario for fight fans is if Ronda wins and Holly wins that 145 lb strap. Then if they can both get a defense or two in there, Rousey vs Holm II super fight (champion vs champion) would be one of the biggest fights in UFC history.

She wont do **** as doon as she'sin range, as soon as she'sin my range she'seatinga 1-2 then crying about her wobbled teeth. Judo is next to useless in a fight unless you tie up and even then competition rules don't apply. Warpi g gets in my range and she's going into hiding for a year and taking a big roll of toilet paper with her to go take a chit in the woods.

I think you're sleeping on Nunes while giving Ronda too much credit. Every opponent Ronda faced prior to Holly was mediocre at best, so her entire run in the UFC as champ was vs smaller women with far less experience. Amanda has been training MMA longer than Ronda and IMO she's the most dangerous female fighter on the UFC's roster right now. Holly has excellent footwork and striking, but lacks aggression and punching power. Holly perfectly timed straight lefts as Ronda came in, then circled away out of range. That gameplan worked great because Ronda kept chasing her and didn't know how to close the distance at different angles to make it more difficult for Holly to land that left (plus Ronda increased Holly's power by running into the punches). But if Ronda simply makes the small adjustment of not chasing Holly, that should make Holly as ineffective as she was vs Meisha. Without Meisha coming forward, Holly was shadowboxing almost the entire fight and anything did she land had very little power behind it. It was a similar story for Holly vs Shevchenko, without her opponent moving forward Holly struggled with closing the distance.
I don't know what Ronda has worked on for the past year, but I'd be surprised if she wildly chases after an opponent again. I expect Ronda to be more patient and if she is smart, she worked on shooting for single & double leg takedowns so she doesn't have to rely on the clinch. Amanda has more punching power than Holly and she uses good footwork to make her opponent miss while staying in range to make them pay after they miss. So where Holly was hitting Ronda once then disengaging... Amanda will hit, move, then hit her again and again. It remains to be seen how Ronda will handle that kind of pressure especially now that she's not riding the wave of confidence she used to have. I just have a feeling that whatever great gameplan Ronda has coming into this fight will vanish if Amanda is able to connect with a combo, but I don't think Amanda will panic and ditch her gameplan if Ronda has some success early in the fight.
If Ronda pulls out the win, she will have earned my respect because of the fact that I think Amanda is a harder test right now than a rematch with Holly.Last edited by 6-SPEED; 12-28-2016 at 08:37 PM.

This was the beginning of the end for Ronda. Buying into her own hype. But who could blame her after making short work of three opponents in a row. Also Edmond being the worst cornerman in history for telling Ronda how great she was looking in between rounds against Holms.
I think if Ronda can survive the first round with Nunes then the fight is hers. Gotta remember Nunes gasses and doesn't look good after this happens. Maybe Ronda needs to use movement and fight smart the first round having Nunes chase her and Ronda engaging the clinch making Nunes work while threatening throws.
But what we will probably get is Ronda coming forward throwing bombs while one of them gets dropped.Forgot to train biceps crew

Im thinking that Ronda will brutalize Nunes in the sense that the very idea of going toe to toe with Ronda involves getting caught in a clinch transition from standup fighting.
In other words, anything other than complete focus on avoiding takedowns and clinches will spell disaster for an opponent.
The key, you said it, that Holly did was pop, and DISENGAGE, pop, disengage... Thats the big key. At all times, it made the take down or clinch unavailable. You pretty much try to do as much as you can without ever opening up for faints and takedowns.
You can't take someone down if all they are doing is defending a takedown. Even if you are the best takedowner.
The stand up is actually a gateway to take downs. Because you can trick the opponent into focusing on a punch or kick while you go for it.
Remember how it was kind of mind-blowing that Holly was able to resist multiple takedowns, thats because Greg Jackson focused on that whole hardly as the centerpiece of the gameplan
Enter Nunes, she's gonna do what m8? She's gonna punch, dodge, and punch agi.....BOOM JUDO THROWN. GAME OVER.
In bolded it says Amanda has been training since so-and-so whatever, bro, she has 4 loses, this is only her 2nd year in the game without a loss. (One in 2014 to Can Zingano) another in 2013 to some no-name.
Then you say "it remains to be seen how Ronda can handle that kind of pressure" LOL do you realize what Ronda even does? Its almost instinctual the level of balance and transitions she has. Women don't have the strength to stop her leverage games and offensive tactics. Only a Greg Jackson pupil with a surgically precise and surprise gameplan was able to. The element of deception, nobody saw it coming, was a big aspect. Nobody was ready for how hard she was doxed and deconstructed.
The depth of her Judo training is crazy, her skills are unprecedented, this is a once in a lifetime miracle athlete we are witnessing here *Joe rogan voice

I love the uptight way Cruz talks crap, he's gets so worked up and genuine about it.
Hes so dorky but its funny/cringe because he has the skills to back it up, but he still has a huge chip on his shoulder and is so lonely and insecure in a way.
I can only describe it like its as if he's constantly in a perpetual existential crisis and dealing with mild depression at all times lol its funny.
Meanwhile Cody is visiting the quack "doctor" (probably Fabers idea lol)Last edited by KingSWRV; 12-28-2016 at 09:14 PM.

He's such a coward, just move up to MW.
Nope.
LOL
Yeah, before the Holm fight her retarded groupies were saying that Ronda could beat Floyd.
Poor stupid Ronda let it go to her head that's why she was so adamant about boxing and koing Holm to the point of chasing her around the cage like a retard.
LOL, I'll never get over how retarded her boxing skills are:

Wow still no site predictions. Are they really afraid of the wrath of warpig?!? Wtf is wrong with these guys?
This catering to that pretentious warpig is sickening. Nunes deserves so much better than to be undercut like this, SHE is the champion, not that ****ing psychopath."I would fight anyone of the UFC LW's, but the problem is that I will never put my foot in the octagon after they (UFC) tried to be funny, I would rather have bleeding hemorrhoids than fight for the UFC.
