    mass gainer

well im 16 so for my nutrition i don't have much say in what i eat in the daily basis as my parents usually cook supper every night plus whatever nutritions in my school lunches so to be honest i have no clue where i'm seating at. I have gained around 10 pounds since August some being fat and that may of been some newb gains not sure i've heard that they stop 3-9 months in on other threads and i'm at 10 months today. My goal is to gain muscle mass and from that macro calculator on here it says i need 262g carbs 175g protein and 65g of fat and if 1 gram or protein and carbs equal 4 calories and 1 gram of fats equal 9 calories not 100% sure if thats true but if not id appreciate one of you fellow form members to tell me if i was wrong with that. i need about 2330 calories a day if that is how it works anyways. now the question is would i be able to get a mass gainer that is almost point on with those numbers. i heard that eating is better than shakes but like i said earlier i have no clue what my school lunches have in them and stuff like that so that would at least get my macros in and that'd be better than just eating random stuff trying to get there i'm assuming so anyways. id be perfectly fine with the same thing everyday not really preferred but as long as it helps me make progress then id be satisfied. Sorry if i sound like i don't know what i'm talking about but i've read a lot of things here and there just trying to get educated and reach my goals. Will be very appreciated if someone could help me out, or at least point me in the right direction! One more thing maybe ingredients to make one around where i need it.

    Dude ...

You're 16. Honestly, don't worry about counting grams, macros, etc at this point. Eat big/train hard. Your body will take care of the rest. At 16, you're too young for supplements anyway; gotta be 18. Don't start overthinking it at this point.

Agreed with above. I'd just focus on getting in enough calories while you're still growing.

This, enjoy those school lunches and home cooked meals from home. If you feel you need extra calories throughout the day add in a PB&J (assuming you like them) as they are cheap, portable, and delicious.
