Check your local Marshall's, kids. I stopped into one earlier, and saw Alden shells for $300. They didn't have my size, or I'd have broken my promise to myself for no more shoes...

in.
Life passes most people by while they're making grand plans for it. Throughout my lifetime, I've left pieces of my heart here and there. And now, there's almost not enough to stay alive. But I force a smile, knowing that my ambition far exceeded my talent. There are no more white horses or pretty ladies at my door.

Morning boys hope everyone had something they had been wanting, under the Christmas tree. Five-Four club sent me some sunglasses I'm not entirely comfortable wearing going to have to figure out how to style them. Kind of smaller round lenses with slim metal frames. Not really something that's my style, hmm.

Sperrys
Ahh there is a new thread.
Just picked up a pair of Sahara sperrys for $8.99. Urban outfitters has them marked down plus an extra 40% off. Not gold cups, but at this price, I'm not complaining.
Cooz, time to go stock up for when you ruin your current pair.*Misc Cologne Crew*

Well, told my mom about the plans to legally change my name. She really didn't care since I don't have her last name and I'm not getting rid of the name she gave me (my middle name, which she could only get as a compromise since my dad refused anything non-super arabic for my first name). She was fine with it. Lol.
On the other hand my dad, when I tell him might not be that happy that I'm dumping his last name. But at the same time he didn't contribute to my upbringing and the only thing I've learned from him is how to ditch a family, so can he really be disappointed/mad though? He only re-established contact when I was going into college, far too late by then. Plus he has another son he'll actually be raising. His legacy will be fine.
And Srben, I don't have any concrete examples of the style I want to go for but its just items like this. More casual. I'll still do S&P when I have to dress up but I want to try a new style. Kind of like r/streetwear, but not the trashy part.
Also, minus the autism and better sized clothes, with significantly less / no gaudy lettering. I'm liking the non-branded, no logo look more. Also miring Stephen Amell's look.
Not sure if it's just cause I'm getting older or am tired of just looking like every other dude on campus. But wearing less straight up polos / khakis will let me concentrate my styles to look better since I dress pretty poverty vs. those ITT. My dressed up game can be a lot better.

I need to kill some time after work, I know where I am heading lol.
Edit: No luck at my store.
Here is what someone speculated about it on the SF Alden thread:
"Based on the shell cordovan stamp, which is the older style, I'd imagine these are at least 8 years old, possibly older. I would assume that a local Alden retailer, probably one of those small menswear shops or shoe stores that happened to carry Alden in addition to a number of other brands, simply went out of business and liquidated their inventory. The local Marshalls buyer probably grabbed it. I would be shocked if you find this quantity of Aldens at other Marshalls, especially in other states."Last edited by Burzan; 12-28-2016 at 12:55 PM.

Good snag Srben.
I've been on a semi hiatus. I've been in Atlanta. I was supposed to hang with friends but I've been helping my grandmother who had back surgery a few months ago and is unable to walk. My stepdad also had some medical issues but is recovering now too. So it's been hectic all while trying to get a job offer.
I'll be in Austin the middle of next year which will be a great fit for me in terms of living. Definitely a more vibrant singles scene there than San Antonio.
Been to Alabama, Baltimore, MD for the Army/Navy Game, also flew back and forth to Austin for interviews like I said.
I hung out with my ex gf (the tall redhead, now blonde) twice. Now divorced with two kids. Time flies within two years! Kind of strange because she has this level of regret that she broke up with me and said she thinks about me a lot. She was more reserved for sure around me after being sexual the past month prior to her coming to Atlanta to visit. Funny.

Thanks buddy
I like. Look pretty versatile too.
Well boys been stepping out of my comfort zone a bit and wearing sweaters the last few days, but I think I.need some.new footwear I really just alternate according to the remainder of my outfit between tan/cognac leather chukkas and dark brown cap toe boots. I could use something with a little more pizzazz but im not entirely sure what it would be. I like double strap monks but I'm not sure.i could style them correctly. I wear fitted jeans of some color daily, a polo in the summer months, and button downs and layered sweaters the remainder of the year. my office is business casual at the most so I would feel out of place with true dress shoes (which I do own, only in black tho). Like I said I really like double monks, I like boots like the redwings or die hard look with a MOC toe and light sole but they're a little too rugged for my taste. What do you guys think?
Also last Friday of the year, we made it boys.
