At this point, judging by the average poster around here- the only way you don't agree would have to be some personal grudge cause a guy like Brady used to bully you in school and/or banged your oneitis/imaginary GF.

Any excuses left as to why Brady isn't the GOAT?

deep down most of america hates tom brady because he is fuking hot, wins at an unpresidented rate, married to the most wealthy supermodel in the world etc he has the perfect life. the avg american is ugly. that's why they like rooting for ugly qb's like peyton manning or brett favre. they see those commercials where those guys are shilling for bud light, wrangler jeans etc and the avg american thinks i eat papa johns just like peyton so i can relate to him. that is the only reason why people hate brady..that or they live in new jersey. tom brady is the undisputed greatest of all time. let's face it Sia is not writing songs dedicated to brett or peyton

you should redefine your definition of stat padding. is that what production is called nowadays?
Peyton has 2 rings himself. once upon a time, you could never be the "GOAT" if you had 0 rings, and now suddenly 2 isnt enough to qualify for an overused, meaningless acronym? who makes these rules anyway?
Brady is also a regular season "stat padder" himself and overrated in the playoffs from an individual standpoint. if it wasn't for his game manager days where he got to beef up his playoff record and collect 3 rings on the back of defense, coaching, and a kicker, he's really no different than Peyton.
2005-present. Brady great regular season numbers, pro bowls, mvps but only 1 ring in 12 years to go along with consistently garbage play in the playoffs but he always got a free pass because of his game manager success.
and one last thing, people can call whoever the hell they want the "GOAT". there are no specific qualifications. everyone has their own unique careers/accomplishments.

I get the argument that Brady is the result of a great system. But, if you honestly think Brady isn't one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game, I think you're lying to yourself. I think the people who say he's a result of the system and not one of the greatest, hasn't watched him play.

i never said Brady wasnt one of the greats. of course he is. just saying theres plenty of arguments to suggest hes no better than any other QB outside an abundance of team accomplishments. his team has won 4 games this season with Brady throwing a total 0f 188 yards 0 TDs.

Jesus man you should just stick to Brady vs Rodgers crap but I guess with Rodgers only SB win you have to be defensive of other QBs not matching up to 4 rings. Well fine...
GOAT means Greatest of all Time so bringing up a guy whose career isn't as good as several others is idiotic. I can call Zeke Elliot GOAT but I'd be an idiot for doing so since he's only played one season(not even yet). Careers end quickly in the NFL.
But since you want to stick up for Mr Manning then explain to me how you would consider a goat QB to be someone who has gone 1 and done in the playoffs 9 times. 9 times...
As for his 2 SB wins the guy has more picks in the SB than he has TDs. Both times he actually won the SB he was carried to the big game by his defense and was literally the worst starting QB in the league last year. He has 1 more TD in the SB than he does pick 6s.
That's your definition of GOAT? Yes he has all sorts of regular season records as well he should considering the Colts built their team around him and making sure he always has toys to play with. Denver also went out of their way to get him weapons all over.
Explain to me then why he was able to dominate in the regular season so well and then when it came time to playoffs he'd routinely choke or the offense would fall off? His two historic seasons ended with him scoring 3 points vs New England and being outscored by Seattle's D in their game...
GOAT Regular season sure...GOAT? Hell no.
Saying Brady is no different than Manning is fuking ridiclous and makes you look stupid as fuk. We all know how great Manning looks in cold weather. You think he'd look as good playing in cold weather outdoor stadiums most of his career?
Manning has won 52% of his playoff games while winning 70% of his regular season games.
Brady has won 71% of his playoff games while winning 78% of his regular season games.
Yeah they're pretty much the same.
And save your "it's a team game" BS. It's a team game in the regular season as well and it doesn't stop Manning from winning those games so wtf happens once the playoffs start? One guy is consistent as fuk the other guy has to play in the cold/high pressure games and somehow it's everyone else's fault when he doesn't win.
