WELCOME! I have taken it upon myself to start this thread up. Calling out the more Senior O35 members proved fruitless (looking at your Plateauplower) so I'm here to get it going.
RULES:
1) Don't post unless you intend to check in at the end. We all want support and input-but we collectively do better when all involved show up and do work.
2) If you aren't cutting, congratulations! See rule one. Get heavy and show up!
3) No judgement of diet protocol or training protocol, just feedback and reinforcement.
4) Include as much about your goals as possible. Pics if possible. We all want to see the transformation.
Start Date: January 1st
End Date: June 25th (or whenever you've achieved your goal)
Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

I'll start.
I have been in a steady caloric surplus since August. I intend to stay at about 500 cal over maintenance until Christmas. It's hard, I've given up a couple notches on my belt. Abs are history. Love handles evident.
I took it upon myself to get uncomfortable this time. Too many times in the past I've just barely gained 10lbs and then freaked. This time, I'm going for a solid BW of 215. (That's as heavy as I've been since dramatic weight loss in 2012)
Gains have been made in legs more than anything. Traps have shown up potentially. Arms are still a disappointment, but they will look better when I'm shredded.
Goals: to hit about 10% BF at a slightly higher weight than last year. (179)
Current: 208
BF: Lardass%
Height: 6'
Pics will be uploaded tonight.

Nothing in the rules says it has to be a cut, Can I join this and bulk the whole time?
I plan to stay on surplus as I train for an April Powerlifting meet, but after that I'll diet down and shed some fat.☻/

In. Goal to go from 240 to 200. I was about 220 prior to my fusion surgery but 12 weeks of not being allowed to do anything helped the weight climb back up. I'm not allowed to start physical therapy until after the 28th even tho I'm doing real light stuff now. I've found that high protein, low carb works best for me and I'll be doing supersets training wise.

Gotcha, I have been struggling with heavy deads lately. Just can't get into the zone for them. I had my best hamstring growth doing 5/3/1 with deads doing the BBB 5 sets if 10. It was awful and probably not sustainable long term, but it was effective for growth.
GL, that is exactly what works for me too. High protein, moderate fat, low carbs. I find I'm hungrier when I eat carbs. Even if I eat carbs that should be satiating like oatmeal or potatoes. I highly recommend 35 cal bread though, Aunt Millie's is the best IMO. It's nice to be able to make sandwiches or have some toast occasionally, makes me feel like I'm not being as restrictive but doesn't seem to have the hunger effect regular bread has on me. I really wonder if it's something genetic in regard to glucos metabolism. My energy levels are usually pretty good with 100g or less per day CHO. I do feel stronger when I bring them back in for a short time, but that seems to "wear off" after a couple weeks.

Wow, 1700 is really low. Try bumping that to 2500 for a week or two and see what happens.

I am in again.
Currently 175 lbs and going to continue bulking until mid-January. Should be around 177 lbs then.
Goal is to be at or below 165 lbs by June. Hoping I have added and can retain a few lbs. of lean msss since June 2016. Also hoping to keep some of my strength gains through the process.
Plenty of photos in my Bodyspace and time line if anyone cares 😊
