    This morning: Ermagahd I woke up and lost 6 lbs. I was only 204!

    This afternoon: I had a few bagels, some pasta, chicken, ham steaks, and a ton of water and back up to 212lbs.

    Crisis averted.

    So I'll start logging daily again on Monday. Yesterday I actually popped into the gym and hit it pretty hard. I haven't done cardio all week, and I've missed a workout. The holiday season has definitely been a little bit busy, so unfortunately, I've had to squeeze workouts in where I could. Between shopping, seeing family, and going on interviews, I really haven't had an awful lot of time at home.

    Anyhow, I managed to get in the gym 3 out of 4 times this week. I was still pretty productive numbers wise, so I'm pretty happy with that.

    I am noticing that I'm beginning to lose the large majority of my cuts, so I'm a little bit upset about that. However, this training style has been yielding results at a fairly quick pace so I am happy with that. I think that the carb load day is actually REALLY useful when it comes to increasing lifts the next day. I notice that there's almost a night and day difference between when I'm lifting after the carb load as opposed to before it. I look WAY more full, I feel more confident, and I feel more energetic after the carb load. I understand that some of that confidence to take on weights is a little placebo, but any little bit helps.

    So big lifts of Jan 7, 2017:

    Squat: 425x1, 435x0
    Deadlift: 445x1
    Bench: 295x3
    OHP: 195x1

    We're moving along pretty well, I think. As of week one, I think I was looking like;

    Never. She gets it and doesn't question it at all. We find ways to eat together even if our goals are slightly misaligned.

    OK I'm back after a little holiday hiatus. I finally got that 300lb bench under my belt, and shortly after decided to take a mini-deload for about a week since I had gone 6 weeks straight pretty damn hard. Joints were aching pretty good and I needed little extra time for my sanity.

    I ate way less on the deload, and it shows. I flushed out nearly 6 lbs of water weight so I'm down to about 204 lbs. I look leaner, but I also look a little flat

    I'm only bulking for another 3-4 weeks, and will flip the switch once the baby is here at the end of the month.

    Haha, right on. I've been on that bulk for 3 months once I get to that phase, so it's gonna be time to cut some weight.

    I probably won't have as much time to eat either, so it makes sense for more than one reason.

    Appreciate that guys!!! I'm very happy that I was able to pack on a little more size.

    I wanted to go full throttle to pack on some leg size, but my knee couldn't withstand the amount of volume I wanted to put my legs to effectively bulk them. I've some success, but not much. So I'm becoming even more lopsided than before. Sooner than later I need to dedicate my entire training to adding leg size and strength. I just need to get my knee back to 100%. Unfortunately, I tweaked my knee last week trying to dodge a giant rain puddle. Just my luck...
