Your calorie tracking is well off "around" "upto" these make the figures your saying pointless as a reference.

With regards to your weight loss, if your starting weight was before any exercise and diet adjustments, then yes 16lbs could be ok, around 2lbs of fat loss a week is doable and the rest could be water weight.

I would say that if you start to accutrately track calories and genuinely eat 7-800 calories for two weeks you will not be a very healthy person, no need to drop below 1500 calories at all
Dont diet and exercise - Eat and train!

If you were eating 800 real calories, you'd be going through hell already, believe me.

We are about the same weight, and ≈3200 calories is a real deficit for me. Sure our body compositions differ, but honestly.

You need to fix your tracking, or noone including yourself, will be able to help you. This is key to future progress!

16 lbs in a month is normal if you're morbidly obese. You, on the other hand, should consider upping your calories. Change your goal to lose a MAX of 2 lbs a week. Losing weight and losing fat are not the same thing. What good is it if you hit your "goal weight" only to look like a half-melted stick of butter?

EDIT: I was your same weight at your same height. You're fat, but not so fat that you need some special regiment to get back - your walking is hardly doing anything. Try actually tracking your calories with an app on your phone - up your calories to around 1900 or whatever the app calculates. Then get your butt in the gym and start lifting. As you lose weight you can throw in some cardio like a light jog for 2-3 miles. I now float between 185-190. Trust me, 1-2 lbs a week is fast enough.

yes, that would be the weekends, where i eat a 3500 cals

I really want to know if brisk walking helps or not, i can't go to the gym since there is no gym nearby my place.
If not walking, what do you recommend me to do?

as long as you are eating something, and drinking water sure it is safe. you aren't starving yourself. you will use fat for fuel if the body needs it.

I'm a fan of the controversial weight loss plan called "eat less, move more". It doesn't cost money, require any special foods, or pieces of technology so it's understandably not very popular

This doesn't add up because the weight loss you listed has been linear. If you're eating 3500 cals on the weekend I would expect it to spike your weight for a day or two.

I'd be more worried about losing organ and bone tissue. 800 calories doesn't come close to getting the nutrients your body needs. This half baked plan is very foolish and will not be condoned.
