But in exchange we get 30 ads between thread titles. What a joke. Chrome on IOS does not block the ads either...

Just want check that there was a display: none; included in the css style for the .back-to-top class. If that does not remedy the problem, It also may be worth making sure that there are not duplicate variables in your site’s javascript files.
