I won't lie, I'm terrified of going on hikes because of bears and I think I saw that video too. There was a guy who told me that if you don't have bear spray or a gun with huge stopping power, you might as well lay down and rot when it mauls you.

Most people will probably disagree with me but I honestly felt like the guy had a passion and felt a dire need to connect with nature. I think he lived his life how he wanted to without harming others or doing anything immoral. I can't call him an idiot.
