So I'm a 16yr old Track athlete who trains olympics lifts for the benefit to your vertical jump. I recently ran smolov and went from a 315lbs max to 405 in 3 months. I also went from 163lbs bw to 180lbs mostly in legs. It was a challenge to complete the routine but it became very enjoyable and the difficulty made me wanna go in every day and squat. Now that it's over I fear I'll lose some progress I made on the program and was wondering if I should run a second cycle after a deload or if I should start a new program (If so, What program?) I should also mention my form is very good (ATG) I've been analyzed by a few coaches and the program became relatively easy after week two of the base cycle, probably because I had a relatively low starting max. I mention this to address the tax it has on my body isn't too great to run again, not 100% sure tho as it would get harder with the increased weight. Any advice will be great. Thank you!
