I really want to see some reviews of this. Seems like a fantastic bargain especially with the 10 or 15% off sales they do. Titan has been bringing in so much Marcy-level stuff lately that I was starting to wonder if we'd ever see a GHD. Still waiting for the Titan reverse hyper...

Any idea what the foot plate measures?
Looks amazing, other than that it looks narrow, which is a deal killer for me.

Very nice find for those who don't need a wide stance.

The rogue foot plate is 20x14. Considering how close this is, that should be in the ball park.

I believe that this is now the cheapest model on the market apart from Yukon's POS.

    Not a huge difference

I'd like to hear from someone that gets this to see how durable the pad and footpads are. Those would be my concerns since it sounds like they've improved their welding on racks

That is a lot of bolted connections. I wonder how stable it would be once bolted together.

But, if it's stable, that pop pin pivot design would be great for quick adjustments with training partners.

I am sure - Xfit or not - there are considerations other than pure stability that get products in any sponsored game.

I'd like to try one just to see how stable they really are.

Agreed on the design. I assume they copied the 2.0 instead of the simpler GH-1 because they thought it would sell better. The only worry on the Titan will be how clunky it all fits together (misaligned bolt holes, mainly). They have good customer service in place of good QA, so at worst you'd be waiting for a replacement part to come in the mail.

The nice part of the footplate being a bolt-on is that it would be easy to buy a wider sheet of 3/16" diamond plate and drill a few holes. Could do it with a hand drill and a few bits in a few minutes.

Anyone else find some sick joy in seeing people clone Rogue's designs since Rogue gets so much credit for essentially cloning other companies designs?

Rogue is the ONLY XFit equipment vendor, that isn't the point. The point is that the design is a heavily tested design, used by athletes that have a record of abusing equipment. This design is an evolution of the already good Nebula GHD.

The design is stable. Seriously, go watch last year's XFit games. The only real concern is what Murphy and cwc have mentioned.

This would be my concern as well (though I'm not in the market for one of these--I already have the Orlando Barbell unit). I bought the Yukon GHD many years ago before I even knew what a GHR was (I used it for back extensions) and by the time I got rid of it, the padding had more or less disintegrated. You sunk completely down to the plywood when you got on it.

Actually, that was one of my points. A sub-par design MAY slip by due to the sponsorship dollars. Not saying it did in this case - just saying it might. Therefore, inclusion in X, Y, or Z-fit games does not necessarily equate to optimal design.

Well, I took the plunge! After discount codes it came to $283 shipped. For that amount, if I dont like it, I'll flip it locally. Will report back when it gets here.

Isn't it on backorder? I may call to see when they anticipate getting it in.

Edit: just spoke to the sales rep they are getting a shipment at the end of the month. I also just paid for one 283.50 was the total.

Who said "optimal design"? You said you were concerned about how stable it is due to the use of bolts. That's silly, considering it's a copy of a heavily tested design. I've used the Nebula, and I know lots of folks that have used the Rogue 2.0. Furthermore, bolts are every bit as stable as welds. Seriously. Ask Mech6.

Saying that a design isn't proven when it's actually been proven in competition is silly. That's literally the best way to test something.

This may be true, but I'll wait final conclusion on the design and build quality until a few here get it and test it.
DESIGN is a known factor. We already know it's a good design. BUILD QUALITY is the only thing to be curious about. Pads and fit/finish, like I indicated and like Murphy and cwc said...
