Didn't do it yesterday as I forgot and went on to smoke a 520 deadlift with a thick bar with no knurling. Will do it sometime this week lol.

Agree with Fivefoot, one mega thread would be better so people who want to regularly enter don't have to search for the thread weekly. They can just subscribe and have it. Maybe just name it " Misc Weekly Lifting Challenge Thread" or something like that.

This would probably be best to avoid cluttering the forum, though admittedly I'd be a fan of a new weekly thread with links to the previous threads in the first post.

In sum, one big thread.

yeah, inb4 80 pages and you have to find where one week ends and one begins vs. weekly thread, reference links to past weeks....only problem is if one of the mods cant make the new thread when it's time. so it's easier for a sea thread.

If the mega thead route is how this works, it would be very helpful to have a link in the OP to the post which starts the new week and new challenge in the mega thread. This way it'll be very easy to find the beginning of the weeks entries and discussion.

Aww damn, this challenge is actually something I've never done before. I've never done a lift for max reps in a time period.

It's certainly different so I'm excited to push myself on it. Would like to see some other brahs bust out 20+ reps though

If you're sincerely afraid of that, don't do it. My doctor personally isn't a fan of power lifting because of the amount of blood that's forced out of the heart during these lifts but he does mention that warming up properly will allow someone with a healthy heart to not tax their heart terribly when attempting these kinds of lifts.

I imagine the best way to warm up for rep maxing on this would be probably around 4-6 sets (of 10 or so reps) gradually increasing the weight.
