    I'd hate for anyone to get hurt doing this if they're training for something else. I'm sure people will exercise good judgement, though. No need to put yourself at risk if you've got a meet or a show that will pay if one places.

    Every person I've seen with a great OHP has a great bench too
    Correlation =/= causation. OHP is a good accessory, but by no means a staple for the bench press.

    If there was a strong cross over I'd have a lot better bench. My strict OHP and incline barbell are both very strong in relation to flat bench.

    I'm not subscribed to him nor do I follow him, but I know he is known as that guy who is good at OHP, same way I know max chewing is good at deadlifting

    My bench got way stronger once I started incorporating OHP [but tbh i did neglect shoulders for the longest while]. I still love the movement anyway and will continue doing it.

    And mine is garbage, think my best overhead is around 275 give or take, and have benched 500.

    I think a simple title edit to:

    1st misc weekly lifting challenge (mod reps + supps)

    would generate as much or more attention than a sticky
