Play around with size of your order. The shipping cost per unit is strictly decreasing in the number of total pints when I do it.
If you go with 6, the safe play would be to do 2 S'mores, 2 Butter Cake, 1 Crack, 1 Ginger simply due to the fact that the first two are more commonly liked flavors in the population.
Mane, if you enjoyed the S&S pretzel flavor that much a re-scoop (I know craziness) of Chubby Hubby is due.

Carrot Cake is only one worth ordering. It would definitely be a B+ pint, but still not as good as 2015, which is #5 overall from S&S for me.
Zucchini Bread was so hyped last year, but it was just different and not sweet at all! If they change the ingredients dramatically, then I might consider rescooping these, although I don't think it's likely.
You know this is true.. I haven't scooped it since 2012 when the OG version was still out haha!
^^Shots fired?!? HAHA just kidding man! I'm glad someone enjoys trying everything like myself. I have only rescooped MAYBE 5 pints my entire life!I.C.E.D.

Respect and even (somewhat) understand your attraction to novelty fellas, but I must admit that it is strange to me.
You don't have this behavior in many other aspects of your life. Wife, jobs, children, etc all involve long term commitments to one ideal choice and yet we are able to extract a lot of joy from having made the right one even if it doesn't change from one day to another.

Humphry Slocombe Cinnamon Tres Leches
My second pint from the Humphry Slocombe shipment sounded fairly basic, but the tres leches yellow cake aspect had me somewhat intrigued, especially in a cinnamon base.
Even though it is described as a cinnamon base, I would consider it vanilla with an added touch of cinnamon. What I mean is that the flavor favors the sweetness of vanilla but has a slight cinnamon aftertaste. It isn't the cinnamon that is going to itch your throat with its potency. It is more laid back, smooth and much sweeter.
Tres leches is a sponge cake that is soaked in three different kinds of milk. Being a sponge cake, their texture isn't as dense as a normal cake pieces. They are chopped into bite size pieces and my pint didn't have all that many of them unfortunately. However, they are still soft, chewy and moist, just like cake should be.
The flavor of the cake bites isn’t that strong. I do get hints of yellow cake flavor that is sweet and somewhat eggy, but overall the flavor is very light. I can also taste a bit of vanilla if I really concentrate, but in the end, these hardly stand out even with a somewhat bland base.
I wasn't that impressed with this pint. The described cinnamon base was mainly vanilla flavor with added hints of cinnamon. The tres leches pieces were lacking, and not that dense. On top of that, the flavor of each cake bite was light and overpowered by the base. This is an easy pass with all the other better options from the Humphry Slocombe lineup. B-

I put in an order with Sweet Action Ice Cream out of Colorado. The owner was very helpful and their ice cream seems promising. I ordered: Baklava, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Cookie Butter Fudge Swirl, and Mascarpone Chile Blackberry. It was $75 shipped for 4 pints. It'll be shipped next Tuesday and I'll have it Thursday.

il laboratorio del gelato
Black Sesame and Dulce de Leche Gelato
I don't think I'm putting in any ice cream orders this month. Instead, I'm going to visit local shops and revisit my favorite ones in NYC.
It's summer. Go outside, and get a cup (or a cone).
Also, It's Restaurant Week. I'll be splurging on brunch and dinner. You can't help the hopeless.

Ample Hills The Hat Trick
This is another limited edition pint that was released with Original Cin. I loved every aspect of this pint when reading the description so I had high expectations when I ordered it.
Although I can tell the base is dense due to the incorporation of actual cream cheese, there honestly really isn't much of the base due to two things. The first is that this pint only weighed 350g with the lid on it, which seems to be a trend of Ample Hills lately. The second was that this pint was absolutely loaded with mixins, which turned out to be a good thing in this case.
As far as flavor goes, the cream cheese doesn't seem near as strong as the base in Oscar Night. However, this is most likely due to all of the mixins because once you start scooping them you can kiss any little bit of cream cheese flavor good bye. However, if you can manage to take a few tiny bites of the base alone, you can definitely taste the cream cheese.
If you are unaware, this pint was named Hat Trick to help root on the New York Rangers throughout the NHL Playoffs, and because it uses three mixins. Therefore, it was only appropriate that Ample Hills use blue and red as m&m's colors for mixins.
Unfortunately, these were the worst of the mixins. They were overly hard, and you had to be careful when biting into these to not break a tooth. They did have a nice milk chocolate flavor, but even that was easily overpowered when eaten with the peanut butter cups and brownies.
Unlike your traditional cup that has milk chocolate surrounding the peanut butter center, Ample Hills has a huge peanut butter chunk with just a milk chocolate coating on one side of it. This really allows for the peanut butter flavor to come through strong, with just a touch of chocolate flavor added. On top of that, it has a good bit of saltiness to complement the sweetness of all the other mixins. They have a hard chew to them, but immediately melt in your mouth with each bite.
Brownies are one of my favorite mixins, but these are just okay. They aren't extremely gooey like some companies, but are still very soft and dense. Nonetheless, they get the job done. On the other hand, the flavor couldn't be better. Each huge chunk is full of rich fudge brownie flavor that accompanies the peanut butter and cream cheese flavors perfectly.
I'm really torn with this pint. I wanted a stronger cream cheese base that wasn't overpowered by the mixins. The m&m's had a pleasant milk chocolate flavor, but were way too hard. A good amount of saltiness was added from the massive peanut butter cups that were a game changer. And the brownies provided a rich fudge sweetness that combined perfectly with the cream cheese base and peanut butter cups. Although it still cracked my top 10 from Ample Hills, it isn't a top tier flavor from them. However, it's a fun pint that certainly deserves a scoop if the Rangers make the playoffs again next year. Stellar flavor for sure! It's crazy that the pint weighed 350g and it had this many mixins. I wish the cream cheese had been more pronounced, but you can't complain when you get mixins like this!
Thanks, and yeah it was absolutely loaded from top to bottom.. m&m's can be okay, but these were overly hard! And they pale in comparison to Ample Hills' brownies and PB cupsI.C.E.D.
