Picking her up tomorrow, got 19K for my 2014 2SS Camaro as a trade in. Although not the 2020 C8, but the 2019 Grand sport convertible!

Everywhere I went the allocations for the 2020 were gone. It kinda worked out for me cause I wanted the red convertible almost all my adult life.

Congrats. I was originally looking to get a Grand Sport too but found a sweet deal on that Z06 I picked up a little over a year ago.

I think the C7 is a much better looking car than the new C8 anyway.

Look at the bright side bruh....Sure, his car is faster, looks cooler, handles better and makes driving infinitely more fun...but.....can he go to Costco and buy a 50 gallon drum of ketchup and put it in his trunk? I don't think so....

I wouldn't call these cars practical, exactly, but they do have a lot more cargo space than one would expect....

Id say that if almost practical! I cant even fit a single suitcase in my frunk. It does carry a gym bag though...but that is about it.


Nice car BH. Have fun with that. But like FLEX said, be careful of warm compound tires. Even down south I ended up sideways around a traffic circle when it was aprox 50deg out and my tires were not warm. They let go quick!

Be careful if you have the stock Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires on there; it's too cold for them right now.

Take it easy on the go pedal.

It was raining as well so I kept it at 55MPH. But thanks for the insight.

He's got the convertible so a little less trunk space but I bet he could do a Costco run.

We've done a few in my Vette. One time we were loading it and this woman says "I gotta see this" and walks over and looks. She just said "I'm impressed" and walked away. Can easily get an entire cart of stuff with room leftover for a beer run on the way home.

Now maybe not a 50 gallon drum of ketchup, but....

We did a little road trip to Ottawa last summer for my birthday. 2 carryon size suitcases and tons of room left:

Sorry bro, but it is 50 gallons of ketchup or bust....Studies have shown that the best predictor of whether a car will sell is it's ketchup carrying capacity. Mustard was a close second. Horseradish was like 10th.

They're pretty close in the 1/4 mile time, but the vette is a lot better looking. Plus I imagine you can see out of it a lot better, I hated my zl1 for the lack of visibility

Very nice upgrade, I'm personally waiting for the 3rd year of the c8 z06 to sell my 5.0 and get a lightly used one

So many garage queens out there. I dunno why guys buy these cars and don't drive them but they do.

Saw a dude bought a brand new 2014 and put like 1,000 miles on it until he sold it last year. WHY?

I'm betting they think of them like a work of art and just enjoy looking at them. I don't really blame them, if you got the cash/income to enjoy a fine car like that, who's to judge what you do with it. Unless you have a Son named Cameron who is friends with a kid named Ferris, in that case, drive the f*** out of it.
