Chapter 10 synopsis:

In episode 10 of RTB4, No Bull**** Bodybuilding founder Ian McCarthy agrees to sit down with Dave Pulcinella for a formal debate over the merits of the IIFYM style of bodybuilding diet vs the "old school" method of eating only a limited number of foods every 2 to 3 hours.

The debate takes many unexpected turns as Dave questions Ian’s motives, and Ian counterpunches from his perspective. Both parties expect a contentious discussion, but are quickly surprised at how much common ground they have.

The worlds of anecdotal experience and hard science collide and test both Dave's and Ian’s perspectives in unforeseen ways but, as always, exploring the "why" behind the passion yields even more interesting results.

Mike explores what makes Ian the internet "troll" tick and then begins to consider the moral and ethical responsibilities of the documentary filmmaker.

Chapter 11 Synopsis:

In the final chapter of Raising the Bar 4 we talk about the making of the Youtube video series, "A Day in the Life of Kai Greene", and what led to his leaving MuscleMeds.

Victor Martinez is incarcerated when returning from a triumphant win at the Arnold Classic in Spain, then has his arm broken by an overzealous fan, yet still manages to compete at the NY Pro.

We check in with Hayley to see how she is doing after retiring from competitive bodybuilding, how she has dealt with the aftermath of her painful breakup and we learn about her ambitious plans her the future.

We explore the reasons Dave will never step on the bodybuilding stage again, see what he’s up to now, witness the beginning of a new chapter in his life and I try to make sense of all of this and tie it up in a bow.
