I view the league cup the same way I view my country winning gold in skiing in the olympics. If we win that’s awesome, if we lose I really don’t care very much

If you pass a ball to Romelu Lukaku at precisely 11:57:31 on New Year's Eve, he still won't have it under control by New Year's Day.

Arsenal Liverpool about to be juicy. We know how each team can't defend, but Arsenal has the better defense. I think it will be 3-1 to the Arsenal.

Fifa trial: two ex-soccer officials found guilty on multiple charges of corruption
- Juan Angel Napout and José Maria Marin both found guilty in New York
- Fifa corruption spanned decades and resulted in $150m in bribes
Two former South American football officials were found guilty on multiple corruption charges on Friday by a New York City jury in the first case brought to trial as a result of the US government’s sprawling investigation of Fifa.
Juan Ángel Napout, the former president of South American football’s governing body (Conmebol) and José Maria Marin, the former president of Brazil’s football federation were both found guilty of racketeering and wire fraud conspiracies following a five-week trial in New York City.
A verdict on their co-defendant, Manuel Burga, the former head of football in Peru, is pending.
The convictions add to the 23 guilty pleas prosecutors have already been secured against individuals and entities accused of bribery in the government’s sprawling investigation of corruption at football’s governing body, Fifa.
Over 40 people and companies have been charged as part of the investigation, which the US attorney’s office says remains ongoing. The case was the first to come to trial since a dramatic dawn raid at a hotel near Fifa headquarters in Zurich revealed the investigation to the public for the first time.

City actually going to pay Alexis 400000 a week?? Tell me these reports are fake news friends. Don’t even think he starts for them atm.
Also Liverpool looks like they have 2 extra men on in this game, Arsenal don’t even look bothered to playManchester United

Liverpool frustrate me. Wonderful attacking side, 2nd best to Man City. but their defensive recruitment in the summer was disgraceful.
Wont be winning anything with Lovren, Klavan and Robertson.
Wasted potential.

3-3.
What a game. Would hate to be at a game as a Liverpool or Arsenal fan!
Also, that's the difference between an average keeper and De Gea

This team is so pathetic at times.
The fact that we've won more games 7-0 this season than 1-0 sums it up. Game should have been out of sight after the first half, and as soon as we squandered all those chances you could just see this happening, our defending means a 1-0 is never on the cards.
Our midfield and defence are atrocious. Can't wait for Mignolet to get his 10th chance and a contract extension.
This current team won't win anything. 3 draws in a row now, with the last two from a winning position where we've dominated.1977

thrilling game but disappointed with result. Mignolet let us down and there were errors on the back especially from Gomez on that Sanchez goal. Im also starting to think Klopp needs to do a better job with closing out games. after the second half when we went up 2-0, we should have slowed down the game instead of trying to play "heavy metal football". just doesn't work especially with the attacking players Arsenal have and our defensive vulnerabilities.
We have lost just 2 or 3 games but drawn 8 now. and that is too many draw especially from winning position.Liverpool F.C. - YNWA
