Oh no, you cannot compare the two. Lacazette is a manager's decision, while Icardi, although a very good player, is being snubbed on purpose by not only the manager, but allegedly the players also, after committing the biggest act of treachery one can do to another human being.

I expect Lacazette to make the team in the near future, he's too talented not too, better than Giroud. Icardi, however, will most likely not get any backing for him to make the team, and it is not difficult to understand why.

Its difficult to gauge monaco - juve because both teams have been a bit fortunate. Dortmund players were obviously shaken in the first leg at home and that kinda ruined the tie for them. Juve kept a clean sheet in the 2nd leg but personally that was down to god awful finishing by barca

Celta Vigo have a solid shot of knocking out United in the EL. They always seem to step up against big clubs (assuming that United are still a big club) and are always tricky opponent for the likes of Barca and Real. Just this season they beat Barca 4-3 and knocked Madrid out of the cup.

I think Atleti might go through though, everyone thought the last ever Madrid derby to be played in the Calderon had passed with Real winning 3-0 - Atleti get a chance to re-write history.

Real will have to keep a clean sheet at home to progress.

Juve should be able to walk through Monaco who have been relatively lucky so far - they do deserve the 'easier' path to the final this year considering their performances in Europe thus far.

I wouldn't say that Monaco were lucky. They are definitely a team you can't sleep on and they have the youngest team in the champions league with so many youth players so they will be up for a fight.

I am 80% sure Real will beat atletico because I feel like atletico can't hold real back from scoring a few goals over 2 legs and atletico don't exactly score a bunch themselves
