Hoping for an electric event next - for some tasty Mareep candy.

Even if there's an electric event you won't see Mareep. Just like you don't see Larvitar now.

Nah...had no preconceived notions that they'd be everywhere. But I have caught 3 Larvs. And our local FB group has reported 2 Aero sightings - when there's literally NEVER been one reported before...so they're out there.

Overall - it's a good event, since we hardly ever get rock types around here unless they're in a nest. Building up dat dere Kabuto and Slugma candy (for what reason, I'm not sure lol).

Biggest disappointment for me was the weather this weekend. Was hoping to rack up some km...but was cold, windy & rainy all weekend here

Like I said - I've already gotten 3 Larvs, and had a couple more on nearby that I wasn't able to grab. Got 5 Chanseys during the pink event. I'd be satisfied with that rate of Mareep spawns, considering I've only ever caught 2 plus one Flaaffy.


Edit: Just grabbed another Larv and an Aerodactyl over my noon hour. Crap CP on both, but TYVM for the candies.

Weather has been terrible here too. Rains every single day. Just said screw it and used an umbrella when it wasn't raining sideways.

Exeggutor is the strongest pokemon to use against Vaporeons. But you need grass attacks, they're useless with phsychic moves.

Vileplume is a pleb version of Exeggutor. So is Tangela. They arent as good but they can hurt Vapes pretty bad. I feel like Oddish is more common than Exeggcute it. At least in my city.

and here I am annoyed that I don't have a bullet seed/solar beam egg lol. Have ZHB/SB and two confusion/SB. Two bullet seed/seed bombs tho.

Yeah but Bulbasaur is pretty rare for me. I only just got a Venusaur pretty recently. Sucks since Venusaur is GOAT.

thats been the only plus to this event walking that thing got it up rom 2000 to 2700 cp

Mine only has Seed Bomb, not that I care. Wasn't able to get outside last two days of the event so I'm stuck at 47 candies.

Had a 129 CP Aerodactyl break out of 2 ultra balls, which were my last balls left. I don't live in an area with many pokestops so I was pissed.

Also curious about future events. I'm guessing it will be fire and/or electric during 4th of July week.

Damn shame about the Aerodactyl. I also ran out of balls at some point during the event but went on an item run pretty shortly after. Now that the event is over it reminds me how much ''playability'' the game loses. I can go on items runs and hatch eggs but that's about it for now. The next event can't get here soon enough imo.

Yep. I use Dragonite with dragon breath and Alakazam with psycho cut as my go to attackers.

Damn shame about the Aerodactyl. I also ran out of balls at some point during the event but went on an item run pretty shortly after. Now that the event is over it reminds me how much ''playability'' the game loses. I can go on items runs and hatch eggs but that's about it for now. The next event can't get here soon enough imo.

If I lived in a bigger city with better weather, playability would be a lot higher for me. I have a ton of work to do with respect to my pokedex. Only have 112 Gen I and 43 Gen II.

It appears so as I haven't hatched a Lavitar from a 10km egg since the event. Dratini is the best hatch I have gotten lately.
