stop bitching all the time Jesus. Tyranitar isn't some legendary Pokemon anyway so it's really not that crazy for people to have multiple. You've probably run into three larvitar in a short amount of time bc you live in a rock heavy area. Just like for me I racked up on feraligatr and Blastoise and every other water poke during the water event.

Tyranitar isn't that difficult to defeat anyway so I really don't see the issue

This. They're actually great for prestiging with their weakness to vaporeon being so terrible. Now that it's been out long enough, having a tyranitar in a gym is no different than the other 6 or 7 we all see.

Tyranitar is nothing against Vaporeon and Machamp with Counter/DP. Blissey is the major Gym killer imo. The rest all have weak matchups from pretty common Pokemon. Maxed out Blisseys time me out all the time.

I think I got my Shuckle from an egg. I dont need more than one though. He is of no use outside the Pokedex. I already had more Slugma than I could count, especially now with this event. Apparently Corsola is regional, but I got one when I was in Florida. Same as Shuckle though. Just a Pokedex filler.

Yes. But most of the time you'll see geodude, kabuto, rhyhorn and omanyte. Others are harder to find.

Right after I posted, I found 2 slugmas lol. I'm only in this game for the pokedex filling. If I manage to build up a gym worthy mon, I consider that a bonus.

Wisconsin, USA (none for me). Really surprised at how short the distance is for walking Chansey. Going to be able save some candies for later power ups.

seems like niantic had the same idea i did the first couple of hours the spanws were great larvs all over the place now they def decreased the spawns

They "accidentally" allowed larvitar to spawn at a huge rate and then realized 45 minutes later that they had made an accident and lowered the spawn rate.

Same here. They say larvitar spawn like Chansey did in the last event. Las Vegas is probably a gold mine like always.

Officially given up on this game. The most enjoyment I had during the 3 or so months I played it was the discussions in this thread and got to admit, IH8Rice was a big reason why I got so into it.

It was fun while it lasted but I can't bother with it anymore. The CP system and spoofers are two of the biggest reasons why I stopped playing. CP isn't good game design. I know it's meant to be simple but I don't like limiting the only useful pokemon in the game to 10-12… none of which I truly like. The spoofing culture is also extremely pathetic. I have no idea how people manage to enjoy this game sitting at home when that eliminates most of what made it appealing.

I tried my hand at Pokemon Sun & Moon, beat the game and was excited to get into online competition but the amount of prepping, breeding, etc you need to do is atrocious and incredibly boring. You need to invest hours upon hours to be viable online and it just isn't worth it to me in the end. For now, I'm giving the entire Pokemon franchise a break.

Thanks. I'm actually in the same boat you are in. I open to contour my streaks and that's about it. Been focusing a lot more on lifting lately. Gonna check back in periodically and may take things more serious after the gym rehaul. It's been real fellas.

lol had one larvitar on my radar but couldn't find him. Haven't had an Aerodactyl on radar at all. Don't mind tho have hatched like 5 of them


Hatched another larvitar today! With 22 candy (been getting like 16 per hatch before) 12.5 more km til I get tyranitar! Woooooooo

Nah...had no preconceived notions that they'd be everywhere. But I have caught 3 Larvs. And our local FB group has reported 2 Aero sightings - when there's literally NEVER been one reported before...so they're out there.

Overall - it's a good event, since we hardly ever get rock types around here unless they're in a nest. Building up dat dere Kabuto and Slugma candy (for what reason, I'm not sure lol).

Biggest disappointment for me was the weather this weekend. Was hoping to rack up some km...but was cold, windy & rainy all weekend here

Hoping for an electric event next - for some tasty Mareep candy.
