Quick update to say I'm not dead.
Work + Holidays + gym being randomly closed or with **** hours means ive been out of training for a couple of weeks.
Will be able to wednesday... but probably not starting properly again till next Monday sadly.
Anyway in the spirit of the new year, here are some goals.
This year
Squat - 170kg
Bench - 120kg
Deadlift - 170kg
Not so sure about competing anytime soon as I'm working weekends mostly.
Will prob do some 1rm testing around my 25th in late Feb.
Program - Was going to be Fierce 5 U/L
But since I've taken so long off I've decided to go back to a novice program for at least 10 weeks and get my lifts back up from whatever state they are in now.
Will be running PL2W Novice again, but with 1 lighter deadlift variation on the 2nd heavy day.
And glute ham raises and pulldowns on the light day.5 day full body crew

I’ve just read through the first 25 pages or so of this thread, working on the rest. It’s actually really motivating (more so than I’d expected) to read the tales of your successes (and occasional failures), so thanks a lot for that!
Looking forward to when my own log has a couple years in it.
Edited to add: didn’t realize I was so near the end when I posted earlier. Great read though!Last edited by Corbets; 05-07-2018 at 07:17 PM.
