f*cked up that Orga died, he lasted much longer than I thought though seeing as imo the Mika/Orga dynamic reminds me so much of Simon/Kamina.

prediction: McGillis sent those men, if it was Gjallarhorn they would've brought a lot more men if they knew Tekkadan's boss was in the city and not a 3-man assassination. Basically McGillis has now forced Tekkadan to fight alongside him which is what he wanted. Finally puts McGillis in the villain role and will make for a epic beating Mika will put on him in the finale

The theory that it was McGillis to "encourage" Mika isn't that bad, but unless there's an asspull somewhere he simply didn't have a way to communicate these orders. Besides, Mika would go eventually unhinged regardless due to the overwhelming odds so I don't see the need for McGillis to ice Orga. The assassins didn't target Orga in particular either, and once one of them went down they pulled out without actually confirming whether they had killed anyone.

In his conversation with Nobliss, Rustal mentions that "Mars is big" and that his Mars branch is being negligent (due to their commander turning a blind eye to McGillis), then tells Nobliss to keep controlling information out of Mars - meaning Rustal relies on Nobliss to know what's going on there, who replies with "Gjallahorn's justice will no longer waver".

Nobliss had tried to kill Kudelia before to martyr her because he felt Gjallahorn was losing the plot, but now he knows if they crush Tekkadan once and for all then they're the top dogs again. Due to his mastery of information in Mars, and propping up Kudelia's Admoss Company, he probably knew about the car escaping the Tekkadan base and that they would go to Chryse - and kept the information to himself, since Rustal doesn't appear to know about it. He might've even known about the Turbines and the Earth contacts. So he sent mercs to deal with them to prevent whatever Tekkadan was trying to do - but since the mercs aren't soldiers or idealists (as anyone sent by McGillis would be), they bailed as soon as one of them went down. Nobliss' target might have been Kudelia again; if she were to be killed, then her death could easily be written off as a collateral from the Tekkadan base siege. That would explain the relatively light, unprofessional force and their lack of focus (since Kudelia didn't go outside).

That's my theory. If it was really McGillis tho, I'll consider myself either bamboozled or disappointed.

i'm not even going to be surprised if it happens... looks like they have no hope at all without orga, unless kudelia pulls a dort 3.

i think mcgillis had the right idea though. if they all stood and fight they had a much better chance of survival. 3 gundams vs mobile suits. the only two that could stand toe to toe with them is gaelio and julietta. and julietta's reginlaze lost an arm and a head too. so really it's only kimaris vidar that can beat them down there on mars.

latest good comedy that i watched was Saiki kusuo no psi nan, not quite on the same tier as GOATama but it's good, if you like dumb humor or are a fan of metal give Detroit Metal City a try, poverty as fuk quality but it haves some funny moments, i think the whole anime is like 1hr long

Thanks guys, I'll check some of these out. I did watch the first episode of Squid girl to see what it's about, and it's definitely not the type of comedy I'm looking for. For example, the "comedy" in that show is cringey and everyone acts like they have maximum levels of autism. It's simply not funny, which unfortunately a lot of "comedy" shows end up doing. I think the reason I liked daily lives and nichijou was because it was a comical spin on things that actually happen to people, with some exaggeration.

Damn, time sure does fly. I remember I was in like grade 5 or 6 when I first saw Naruto, than the transition to Shippuuden... Getting old really does suck.

Damn, I thought we were the same age but I am a bit older. I was in grade 10? when a Taiwanese kid recommended it to me.

That feel when rushing home to start a 1 hour download on dialup for the new episode. And it was the start of my journey into anime too.

We may never get another Big 3 like we did with Naruto/Bleach/One Piece because anime is kind of mainstream on the internet now days. We still have a group of long running shounen, One Piece, Gintama, Dragon Ball Super, and now Boruto, with World Trigger sequel probably happening soon... and hopefully Toriko comes back to for the Gourmet World sequel. But overall I think people prefer their shounens in shorter chunks like with Attack on Titan or Boku no Hero.
