So I'm curious and and want some input for all my fellow Naruto fans out there. Am I the only person that thinks that Madara was the only sane person in the series? I'm dead serious. Some may call him a typical Uchiha filled with paranoia due to the sharingan, but I think its deeper than that. He realized there would never be peace in the ninja world due to one main issue. Human beings. Madara believed as long as ninja were allowed to roam free there would always be chaos and destruction. So naturally the only solution to this problem was to strip the world of its chakra, obtain the power of all the tailed beasts, and cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi putting every individual into their own paradise like dream world. In the Boruto manga its been shown Konoha is destroyed. A home to some of the most powerful ninja on the planet. This means all the other villages are either destroyed or will soon be taken out. The sage of Six Paths tried to being peace to the world and he failed. Hashirama created the village system to bring peace and failed. Naruto saved the world countless times, brought all the villages together and failed while apparently losing his life as well. Like ninja keep waisting their time to bring place to the chaotic cesspool known as the shinobi world.

I don't know how those bastards did it but Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu S2 is even better than S1. And it currently sits at an 8.78 on MAL. GOATs gonna GOAT. The story is amazing and one of the few dialogue heavy shows I can sit through without dropping it. Best show of the season and will be potential AOTY for the 2nd year in a row. Oh and both seasons are now the highest rated Josei series on MAL.

Yeah I agree both S1 and S2 are fantastic. Currently caught up with S2 and I enjoy it. It's a very mellow show though so I feel like you have to be in the mood to watch it.

god damnnn i actually thought that was beautiful... i honestly don't think akane is going to go back to her old ways. pretty sure she was just wearing depression goggles the entire time and the slooting was like self-... idk the term, self-infliction or something. like when depressed people go down a path of destruction. either by drinking a chit ton, doing a lot of drugs, gambling, etc. akane's dark road of depression led to slooting around. seems like glasses sensei finally brought her some happiness.

Madara Uchiha is the true hero - it's just that due to lol plot Kaguya ended up existing somehow. I'm guessing they pressured Kishimoto to add a new character to tie into the movie and for a potential sequel hook of sorts.

There was fuk all foreshadowing which leads me to believe that this is what happened. Jump really needs the stories and $$$ - they don't have any new series that can come close to One Piece; and nothing that can replicate the Big 3. Boku no Hero Academia is the first manga that's coming close but it'll be a another year or two more before it becomes clear if it can match up.
