Ive jumped on the tinder/bumble train combining the advice on picking the right profile pics that ive read here (been following this thread for 2 years now). I've had my profile vetted by both female and male friends of mine who insist i have a good profile.. yet i cant get matches to save my life!
Bit of background, i'm 25 and live in london so the pool size is large. Would humbly describe myself as above average aesthetics/physique, but i'm start to wonder if i'm ever gonna make it?

You'll rarely get a match if you're not paying. Tinder is now pay to win like every other app out there. Notice that most of the posts you see here are from guys talking about boosts and such. Gotta pay for those because its the only way your profile will get shown to people.

Before the pay to win days, I'd get 10-15 matches a day. Now I get 1-2 a week when I'm not paying for premium lmao

Yeah most of the time, she didn't like what she saw on your FB account. I had this situation several time before I started to take care of every aspect of my life. Like my real name on ******** made them looking out for me on Internet, and you could see my LinkedIn profile where I put a picture with my haircut buzzed. A bad picture but didn't care until I understood girl could see them.

You also have your FB pictures. Remove every picture that you think are not worth it. Women will pass through every one of them until they saw one that they found not good enough and then stop reply to you. Like me at first, you could say : "this is still me, in everyday life, so if they don't like me here, why would they like me IRL later ?". It's just, some people look fine on pictures, others don't. It's better to remove some and have the opportunity IRL, than leaving bad pictures that could kill your game.


Also guys, would like to say that I had a crazy week-end two weeks ago. I moved to another town where I have my summer house (it's 5 hours by car). I started swyping the next morning, didn't change anything, small radius for the girl's area detection and... wooow. Yes, it still depends on looks of course, but if the guy is at least reasonably attractive then for me a sense of humor or other attractive personality feature showing in the pics can definitely make the difference between swiping left or right.

I deleted tinder a few months ago and don't have anything going on dating wise but have been thinking a lot about what is attractive. Looks are important of course but masculinity, confidence, being easygoing, funny, social etc. are all really attractive.
