high reppers are just going to continue to do business with high reppers. the high reps get richer, the low reps may have some level of 'equality' at the expense of high reppers but like Trump doesn't pay taxes, high reppers will continue to exploit the system with the rules in place.

They explained they can't.

Since there is no native capability to set a rep cap, they have to be manually adjusted. For the first part of helping to normalize these levels a bit, I'm looking into returning all non-moderators >150K back to 150K.

We can't even neg without there being a problem. High reppers should be there to allow some regulation in the misc. To keep the FA's outside of our borders and if they come here they will be red on sight.

With this change in the rep system it could cause a detriment to systems in place on bb.com or organized rep trading.

That's according to my calculations. Tune5k estimates that someone such as myself and him who have over 300k reps will feel the effect of this reset to the equivalent of 250 mod negs.

That is ridiculous! The rep system works as it is. It regulates the good posters, the good trolls from the bad people. The FAs, the incels, the *******s.

We need need to regulate the content that comes here. If high reppers aren't high reppers, we will only have MORE problems on the misc becuase we won't know who's a good poster and a FA troll and a problem for our misc borders.

Moderators are just hurting the miscers who worked hard for their reps for the past 5-10 years and contributed to this great board. We don't need Obama-like policies here.

I propose that we don't change the rep system. We're going to make the misc great again.

Mods should focus on banning the pathetic LDAR, FA, twink, detective, etc threads. Shouldn't even be allowed on the misc without an avi. Troll alts should be banned on site with the thread deleted. Too many pathetic people have ruined the misc.
