UFC where a loss and close decision win at WW gets you a shot at LW. What a joke. ****s over Khabib and Aldo.
Dream scenario. Vacates and then Conor loses, which he will, lulz.
If Eddie has any gameplan at all it'll be to just wrestle **** Conor to hell.

Idk if this is true, but RDA is certainly a more dangerous fighter than Conor at 155. People seem to forget that Conor isn't a true 145er. He's a LW who puts himself through hell and beats up smaller people. He found out that people don't crumble to his shots with Diaz and Alverez isn't some bum off the streets, he's incredibly dangerous.

Gotta hand it to Conor, he doesn't take the easy way out. Alvarez is a nightmare for most anyone. Simply put, his wrestling will be too much for Conor and his chin is among the best in the sport.
Hnnnnggg at the entire card, though. Stacked top to bottom.*SillieBazzillie isn't that bad of a guy Crew*

lol @ Dana White,
but I can understand it though, UFC 205 is gonna be a big card, quite possibly the biggest card ever and you can't have the biggest card ever without your biggest draw in Connie. It's hilarious that Frankie gets put on the prelims, lmfao. Should be awesome though.
Has Jacare and Rockhold been confirmed yet?

So McGregor is only not being stripped so he can hold two belts at once (possibly) but WILL have to vacate one if he wins. Good.

Also, jesus christ, they're trying to get Khabib vs Michael Johnson on 205 too.

This will be the card to end all cards, pretty much

There is no reason to have this fight, neither fighter has cleared their division, hell they haven't even defended their belt yet.
The only reason this fight is happening is because the UFC is seeing $$$. They are hoping people will jump onto the UFC hype train and they will make millions on PPV buys.
I'm growing less and less interested in mma(UFC mainly) by the day with these hyped freak show events.LAKERS,49ERS,ANGELS

How many times are people going to continue to make this argument? It's been going on for the last year. It's not new. Everyone should already be aware that rankings don't really matter and it's all about money.
And this isn't a "freak show" fight. This isn't Kimbo (RIP) vs DaDa 5000. Or CM Punk. These are the kind of superfights that fans have been asking for for years. Everyone used to talk about Anderson vs GSP or Anderson vs Jon Jones, but now that these types of fights are happening people are getting all up in arms about it.
Just watch the show and enjoy. They're good fights

Connor isn't GSP or A. Silva in their prime, they(GSP,Silva,JJ) took the belt and kept it. Connor has already lost one of these freak show fights. Comparing Conor to any of them is blasphemy.
This shouldn't be a fight fans are asking for, neither one has defended their belt. People who want to see this fight are drinking too much of the hype train koolaid. The only reason people are watching these fights is because Connor can talk sh#t and hype fights that otherwise make no sense.LAKERS,49ERS,ANGELS

This isn't comparable to those superfights because at that point there was no one left for those guys to fight.
Silva? Defended 10x, Cleared out his division, fought 3x at LHW.
Jones? Defended his belt 8x. Cleared out the division.
GSP? Defended his belt 9x. Cleared out the division.
Alverez? 0 defenses, 3-1 in the UFC
Conor? 0 defenses, coming off a loss and win to Nate Diaz at WW.
Nothing about this is a super fight. These aren't two champions who have run out of options. I don't blame the UFC for wanting to make money, but Dana should be called out for speaking out of his ass and letting Conor own him.
I've been following the UFC for 10 years and this fight doesn't appeal to me, it's for the casual fans. 205 would sell just as many, if not more, PPVs if the main event was Aldo vs McGregor.*****Eagles/Phillies/Flyers/Sixers*****

Conor is the biggest draw of all time. He doesn't have near the skill of the aforementioned fighters, but he sells tickets and people want to see him.
Champ vs champ = automatic superfight.
And I'm saying these things from a completely unbiased point of view.
I hate Conor and I sure as balls don't think Alvarez is the best lightweight, but it was the fight to make for a celebration card (other than Conor/Aldo), which is literally what they're calling this.
