Do you need a certain number of any thing to lose weight

I assume that the less calories and fat you eat each day the more weight you lose right? like if the calorie calculator says I need to eat 1500 calories a day to lost 2 pounds a week. if I eat a lot less than 1500 I could lose more than 2 pounds a week right? is there any thing you need to eat a certain amount of like protein or fruits?

yes if you ate less than 1500 you could lose more than 2 pounds but DONT DO THAT. , its unhealthy to lose more than 2 lbs per week and 1500 is already very very low... try hit protein numbers , yes you can eat anything in a caloric deficit. fruit or whatever.

Not true, you can safely lose more than 2 lbs per week, providing you hit minimum nutrient requirements, it's just difficult to do when you are leaner.

Stick to your calorie goal for now, if you get to a stage where you hit a plateau and you stop dropping fat then maybe decrease your intake slightly. Also you can eat fat and still lose fat again total calorie intake is the most important factor.

It not always linear. I've dropped inches on my waste, and had to add notches on my belt, but hadn't lost weight while on a cut diet. I'd take a long term focus and develop healthier eating habits.
