    ARA Question

I have been reading a lot on ARA just out of curiosity. A few years back I would take a lot of XFA, and OG XF. I won't probably take it ever again due to having lyme disease and that being very systematically pro inflammatory, one of the key factors to controlling my symptoms is limiting inflammation in the body as a whole. That got me thinking about ARA though, since I did take a lot of it a few years ago before all of this. Can supplementing it increase systematic inflammation in other parts of the body where we do not want it? Obviously we se people mention symptoms of joint pain, but what about at a cellular level, things that maybe we can't immediately notice but may lead to bigger issues down he line? Everything I read about ARA in the brain for example is bad, too much of a conversion in brain tissue leads to inflammation in brain tissue and has increased ability to lead to Alzheimers, bi-polar, Parkinson's according to some doctors, ect. So in theory, wouldn't supplementing it, and making more available in the body, possibly lead to bad outcomes down the line?

Just some links below to what I found:

No one can say for certain, but that is a possibility I would think.

One reason it is very important to run for short durations followed by maybe even longer off periods. A 50 day cycle of ArA should only increase localized inflammation. Now if one runs if for a longer duration as mentioned before, then it can become systemic.

Being that you suffer from lyme disease, I wouldn't touch the stuff.

Yea being with my condition, lyme can lay dormant in the body for long periods of time, becoming active due to stress, and other factors. You never really rid the body of it but you can live symptom free eventually, which I am almost at. Oddly enough the onset of my symptoms started after a 50 day run of ARA, which got me thinking. I had inflammation in my inner ear, which caused all types of vertigo issues. Makes me wonder if my ARA use could have been a contributing factor to the onset of my odd symptoms, obviously it could be completely coincidental as well.

I'm leaning towards ArA being the culprit. Just my opinion though.

If one has joint issues, probably good to stay away as well.

Many mention headaches and lethargy as well coming from ArA.

With Lyme - I wouldn't touch it. While the supplement is great, some "gains" as it were, are not worth the possibility of a relapse.

I remember the reps touting years ago that it only causes inflammation in the muscle. But it's interesting to see that signs point to that not being the case.

When you take it preworkout, it is (theoretically) more prone to affect the muscle cells.

They really have not done any real studies on what supplementing or taking in a lot of ArA foods when one has systemic inflammation issues. On paper it would seem like a bad idea but with the training dose protocol along with trainees having different physiological responses relative to sedentary people, we don't really know.

I don't need to read this BS, been living the nightmare for 2 years and am very close to healed. Traditional doctors wouldn't help me. CDC wants to hide that there is a lyme epidemic in the US, and threaten to take doctors licenses away if they treat it. It cannot be cured in 2-4 weeks. If you don't have anything to contribute to my question in the thread piss off.

The body has natural homeostatic mechanisms to limit systemic byproducts of inflammatory substrates. What happens to IL-6 levels with sustained ArA supplementation and what does that say about systemic inflammation? The research has been clear about this.

I'm not surprised you "missed" those articles as you were undoubtedly obsessing about fake diseases that you think you have.

Any "neurologist" that diagnosed u with chronic lyme disease just wanted u out if his clinic and probably prescribed placebo. A short course of doxycycline eradicates lyme within days.

Hopefully you get lyme and you can report back with your findings Cant wait for your studies. Also the first article you posted is severely outdated, although some of the info is true, a simple google search would show you that even the CDC is reporting 200k cases a year now. Btw I never took doxycycline once again, an outdated treatment based off the standard western blot test that only looks for 5 of the known 200+ bands. Its obvious you did a simple google search for anything against lyme exsisting you could find. The same could be done for any disease.

The second study is a meta analysis from Duke University and was published in 2014 in a high impact journal. So...come again? I think youre coming down with a nasty case of adrenal fatigue.

I didn't even read your second study, didn't want to waste time after the first nonsense you posted.

Also, you can look at your local microbiogram data and see that doxycycline remains extrmely effective against all lyme species. In fact there has been no lab confirmations of any widespread resistance. Ever.

Then again, you dont seem to be a big fan of "evidence."

Yeah man. No sense wasting time reading "facts" and "data" when you can read pseudoscientific quackery which supports your preconceived lamebrain ideas. Cognitive dissonance is a hell of a thing.
