working 7 days a week with some breaks here and there to go see the girls. staying up til ~3 every morning helping to feed the babies after work before i pass out. the only lifting i've been doing lately is some farmer's carries:
because of course my in-laws don't want to bother getting out the (admittedly huge) double stroller from the trunk of the car
my in-laws (from China/Hong Kong) are very, very slowly getting used to the idea of eating non-well done steaks. honestly though since most of the steak we eat is at home, i just cook their a little extra and let them compare to mine. just remember that eating under-done steak is physically uncomfortable to many people (like how i look at undercooked chicken: no ****ing way i'm eating it). so i don't push them too hard. and if it's steak you buy from the store it's not a waste like it is at a fancy steakhouse
just cut that **** thin and then flip it a few times...or go with fajitas or carne asada.
so are you living in the States permanently now? maybe you've gone over this, but i feel real out of the loop.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

^The most important weight you can lift. At least you have your priorities right, plenty of people could learn a lesson from that.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Had my first Taco Bell at the weekend. Don't really exist here, but like Five Guys, they're slowly cropping up. Dat value in a Bell box.
Damn jelly, they're on my list of bands to see. Saw Def Leppard + Cheap Trick on Sunday, seeing them again Tomorrow night. Hysteria is my favourite album of all time, so seeing it front to back has been special.

Finally cutting again myself, hit ~185 and now going down to 160-170 again (AVI is 162); so far it's nice eating a bit less, but I'm sure by the end I'll miss bulking. Put 25+ pounds on in 1 year, so if even just 8 of it was muscle I'd be happy.

I like Taco Bell sometimes for their breakfast, but i don't eat their non-breakfast foods; it's like instant diarrhea for me.
5 guys i used to eat often, but frankly i think their burgers just aren't good enough to justify the having to wait in line and the cost. the buns are too small for the burgers, so by the time you add toppings it ends up being shaped like a ball instead of a sandwich.
any chance of you seducing Barb to the upside-world to live with you? or are you wanting to move to the US? wait...was this all an elaborate plot just to gain citizenship by marrying some poor, unsuspecting American?
Start doing some curls and overhead presses every time you pick up those baby carriers and ride the gain train lol. Automatic progressive overload.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

Always enjoy an epic poop after a double shift. Can't poop at work most of the time, just weird to me given how our bathrooms are in the Control Booths. A little bigger than a porto-potty, but the walls only go up about 2 feet, then the rest is mirrored glass so you can still see the day room, but they can't see you. Just odd with ~100 guys around when trying to take a dump.

Yesterday was awesome; we had a staff threat (note saying inmates planned to stab 'staff') so we were on lockdown all day. I worked Observation my first shift and literally sat there for 8 hours, answered the phone a few times, watched a few escorts.... next shift was in a control booth where I sat for 8 hours, pushed a few buttons and watched my floor staff have to cell feed (door to door handing trays to inmates, then collecting the trays).
I did maybe 40 minutes of actual 'work' all day. I can't believe I get paid for this.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

Ehhh, depends; when I was on the floor cell feeding got annoying, having to strip search then escort every inmate got annoying, constant searches (for weapons) got old fast.... it actually ends up being a lot more work for some people.
Now with my current posts it's pretty sweet.
Oh, and usually we have to conduct interviews on most inmates (sometimes all of them) on the yard; a little 5 question paper asking if they know of any threats to staff, any plans, ect....
Pretty much ~600+ people always saying 'No.'Last edited by gbullock32; 12-18-2018 at 08:27 AM.

It blew my mind when I went to Seoul and had to dispose of my TP in the wastebin instead of the toilet. Not that it's this super terrible thing (the place had daily service to clean it out) but just surprising for the capital city in a first world country.
anyhow that's what i thought of when i processed "Korea" + "Toilet"Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

@dom
Exactly! For a pretty high tech city they have real lousy plumbing.
China squatting toilets are the bomb thoughYou can't get much done in life if you only work on the days when you feel good.
