This is what I thought at first as well, but they accentuated the features that fall under the stereotype of the "angry black woman", as well as changing the Portuguese umpire to that of an Anglo-Saxon man, as well as changing the African-Japanese tennis player to a white woman with blonde hair.

For me, if it was just the caricature of Serena, it wouldn't have been racist. But because they changed everybody else to white, it's undeniably so.
