Off for 10 days, mostly shift swaps and a few daily vacation burns... will be assing around and going to Sac to visit family for 4-5 days.

Oooo that's going to be a nice break. My summer's ending on Wednesday... time to head back to school. Haven't started packing yet. Oopsies

Well I'm back from touring, what have I missed? Did Erik get a GF?
Playing a festival in Germany was insane. The 18 hours travel there was not. Nor was the 18 back.
The German people were so kind and all they wanted to do was practice their English on you. Felt embarrassed with my pithy grasp of German!




Also got a new tattoo... wanted to combine the Hope butterfly with the Semi-Colon anti-suicide movement, so ended up with this.
Tattooist said I was braver than she was when she got her ribs done. It was toe curling for sure, but you've just got to breath through it. Really like it.



Other than the tattoo, my first session back in the gym post-Germany I decided to have a little strength test and manage 140kg x 5 reps x 3 sets squats for the first time in forever; been all about that low weight high rep for some time, so pleased with that.

Thanks mango, good. Enjoying throwing some heavier weight around, really enjoying my training block.
Had another great festival show last night, really riding high on the adrenaline from Germany. Got another show tomorrow night, so hopefully we can incorporate it there, too.

I think it's dope that you're actually making a name for yourself as a band, I feel like it's not easy to do in this day and age.

College year will ... be TBD on whether it'll be successful or not lol... I'm more excited to see my friends and everybody again

I remember those days. In High School you couldn't wait till summer, in College you wanted to get back to school because summer was boring. I just worked in a factory the whole time.

Weekdays my son will nap for 3 hours for me. Weekends he puts in 1:30 for my wife. I think it's because he wears himself out at the gym daycare for me, we go home, eat, and chill.

Weekdays my son will nap for 3 hours for me. Weekends he puts in 1:30 for my wife. I think it's because he wears himself out at the gym daycare for me, we go home, eat, and chill.

that sounds awesome. is he sleeping through the night okay? naps range between 1-3 hours depends on how he sleeps at night and if the wife lays down to nap with him. If we let him sleep in sometimes we skip his nap entirely and get him in bed early.

No truck drivers. Think all the **** you get from places like Lowes or Home Depot like wood, sheet rock, etc.

you get used to it. also sheer exhaustion wins out eventually. and yeah kids definitely make it hard to lift. chilling with a kid who's just relaxing is the opposite of what a preworkout gives you.
