Way to go Wes! Haven't seen you in a bit. That must have been what you're up to
'Gratz, M!
@andrewwww - meal idea, not too difficult and I suck at meal prep. Great to pack in my lunch box and have for 2-3 days of lunch.
- 1 packet Seeds of Change - any variety (great for adding superfoods like kale or quinoa)
- 5-6 oz frozen Tyson chicken Premium Selects (chunks)
- frozen peppers and onions mix (I usually get Trader Joe's)
- shredded 2% cheese (like Colby-Jack or Mexican Blend) optional
- single serving Moe's Guac (or other preferred brand)
- 1 can low sodium black beans (or seasoned black beans, I get Bush's) - optional
It's my 'Chipotle (or burrito) bowl. With beans it makes 3 servings, without it makes 2 servings. Also a great way to make simple meal prep and leave a serving for your significant other. She'll thank you for making her lunch; mine does.
All of it can be nuked - I use pyrex dishes (no partitions, just the rectangles).- Cook Seeds of Change packet (90 seconds)
- portion chicken and peppers for each dish then cook for about 1 min to 1:15 - not fully - just to 'unfreeze'.
- if using beans, add 1/3 packet SoC to each dish and 1/3 can of beans
- sprinkle about 14g (.5 oz cheese) if desired - and seal containers
- drop a guac tub/pack with but don't add until after reheating
- can add a spoon of sour cream if desired
Very tasty and some excellent quality stuff for being frozen or prepacked. simple to do and flavors change according to SoC packet and if beans or no. It's really a simple go-to for me.
I have a workout idea I could share; but, I'm following a program right now and the idea would be one of the basic tenets of the later part of that program, so ti wouldn't be my idea. But it's good anyway.“God will not have his work made manifest by cowards” - RWE

Thanks man! Just had a lot of stuff going on since thanksgiving and have been slacking on the boards... Trying to get back into the swing of things.
Working legs tonight!
I have been doing the Keto diet and my meal plan has been simple... lol
MEAT and lots of it.... I add some veggies in a little here and there but mainly meat and eggs and cheese. Some protein shakes here and there to satisfy my sweet tooth.
I have an omelet for breakfast and usually a burger without the bun for lunch and maybe some hot wings for dinner or something like that. Been working for me really well. I usually have one day where I will cheat with like one item that is still on the lower end of carbs and it has worked for me. Been on it since September and seen a big difference in my belly size.
With that being said. I am in this week for SEMTEX or VITABOLIC or STIM-X or Supernova! Or one of each if yall are feeling froggy!Wesley

I'll play! Can I throw my hat in for Vitabolic, or is it too early for that?
Been away from the gym for a week and a bit as I had some time off transitioning to a new job. I had also tweaked my wrist right before I left my old job. I just started easing back into lifting again and did a back workout on Tuesday:
Pullups - 4 x 8-10
Barbell bent over row - 3 x 5 @ 205lb
Neutral grip pullups - 3 x 8-10
Rack pulls (below the knee) - 3 x 5 @ 225lb
Upright barbell rows - 3 x 10-12 w/ empty barbell
EZ bar curls - 3 x 10-15 @ 75lb
Still sore today! Wrist is acting up a bit as well, so I decided to hold off on presses until it feels better. Might have gone too hard on my first day back haha. Going to try and hit legs tonight.
This is a "recipe" that I've been using to prep my lunches for the past few months. It's kinda boring but its easy, and I can knock out five days of meal prep in 45 mins on a Sunday.
Ingredients:
500g lean ground beef
500g ground chicken
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
Frank's Red Hot Sauce
Shredded cheese (one bag is usually enough for two weeks of lunch meal prep)
Veggies of choice (500-1000g)
Seasoning for veggies
Add a bit of olive oil to a pot, just enough to cover 1/4 to 1/3 of the bottom.
Mix the beef and chicken in a pot and cook on med-high heat until browned.
While the meat is cooking, prep your veggies. I like to use brocc0li, cauliflower, peas, carrots or corn (or a mix). If its brocc0li, cauliflower or carrots, I usually roast them in the oven for 10-20 mins (time depends on whether the veggies are frozen or fresh) after tossing them in a bit of olive oil and a bit of seasoning. Peas or corn can be boiled if you want, but the dish gets nuked before I eat it so I don't bother.
When the meat is cooked, drain it and return it to the pot. Add salt and pepper to taste. I add the Frank's here, and I'm pretty liberal with it. Mix it up and taste until you're happy with it. If I'm having corn or peas, I'll mix them in as well.
Portion your meals out. I do 160-170g of meat per meal, and portion out the veggies evenly for each meal (the amount differs for each veggie, for example I would do one cup of brocc0li per meal). Add a small handful of shredded cheese to each meal, and you're good to go.
Works out to about 420 calories, 500 if you include the banana/apple that I have with lunch as well. Macros for the meal prepped with 1.5 cups of brocc0li are around 55p, 18f, 31c (including the apple/banana). I would also add white rice from time to time if I wanted extra carbs.▇ ▅ █ ▅ ▇ ▂ ▃ ▁ ▁ ▅ ▃ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▇

I am always down to check out Supernova!
If you want recipes for food prep here is one of my favorites:
Egg protein muffins:
12 eggs (can sub egg beaters)
8oz ground turkey sausage
1 cup spinach
Half a bell pepper
Half an onion
Salt and pepper.
Sauté the veggies until tender and to beaten eggs and mix quickly. Spray Pam on a muffin pan and bake divided mixture at 375 for 16-18 minutes.
These freeze well and are about 100 cals a pop. It's your diet.
